Koi - Thank you also for what you said on the Unmoved thread I did feel realy upset by it. I'm actually pretty sure these days that I have a Cancer AC - otherwise I couldn't explain my reactions astrologically lol

CPN - I actually don't see us as such different people. We have a similar sense of humour. And I think my reply to you sounded not so friendly - so I'm sorry about that.

I understand you were saying it is a bit hypocritical of me to defend Sanchenuss and then make a fuss about THIS particular comment.. Maybe you don't know this but I did actually direct a thread at Sanchenuss when he first joined telling him off and telling him he would be banned if he kept behaving the way he was.

I personally think it is not a good idea to chat with certain members of a board outside of the realm of that board as it can get ugly about other members and peoples feelings can get hurt and things can get said that really don't need to be said. I have seen it happen in the past and it really never brought positive energy to the board. which is why i never signed up for the chat thing that you saunch and others were doing, just felt like interacting here is good enough other than adding my closest friends on facebook, which is inviting them into my real life.

i fully realize when you send pictures of a compromising nature to someone, you do run the risk of situations such as this and others, however, I don't really go for puiblic humiliation or spreding pictures or rumours around. if you are not aware of the exact link, i can post it, but i think you know what i am referring to.

i do like your firey spirit and sense of humor, but sometimnes feel you go overboard on insisting your thoughts are right and others are wrong, people who may have more life experience than you do. which to me means, and i may be wrong, that there is no learning to be done from each other, which is why i sometimes erase my posts about subjects when you so vehlemently disagree leaving no room for discussion or growth.. i may be wrong in perceiving that , and if i am please accept my apologies and pay me no mind.

i vehelmently disagree with valus on many subjects, but i think through the years we have learned from each other, or i like to think we have, with open minds and open hearts. not always the case, but through the years, yes, definately the case.

one thing i have learned through the years, when you think in absolutes, you do yourself a disservice, as i have many many times to my own detriment, and maybe realizing what i perceive to be true and right would look skewed from another perspective that someone with different life experience might see. considering all possibilities and not just holding on to my point of view so tightly as to miss something important that someone with a different perspective might experience and share with me.

this post was not in any way meant to upset you, anger you, or be unfriendly, I just felt like i needed to get it off my chest how i felt.

one more thing, if you want to reach randall, there are ways to do that without starting a thread in a forum, threads are for whoever wants to read and comment, which specifiacally is, everyone registered to poist. so you can't really tell people to butt out when you start a thread, all are welcome to post in any given thread, whether you like what they have to say or not. so this is me telling you, don't tell me to butt out of a thread ever again, i have just as much right to post here as any registered knowflake. and i am not angry about it, i am just letting you know.

Re: Sanchenuss and the photos -- He was not told anything about the photos. He does not remember the knowflake in question (what she looks like) and he was not saying things intentionally to embarrass this person, if it was her (he didn't think it was!). I think the responsibility here lies with the sender, not the receiver. The sender apologized. But this was a horrible thing to do - I agree.

Re: Chatting - please do sign up. We almost never talk about LL at all. I only chat to people about my own life and theirs. LL barely ever comes up. Almost everyone is chatting on FB anyway. This was way before the msn trend started.

Re: My posts. Other than yourself - and maybe a couple of months back - *one* other person.. I have not been getting such feedback overall, in regards to my posts, for the past few years. There may be some kind of miscommunications happening. I havea very mutable-watery Mercury square Uranus in Saggy, so what I think changes. Maybe I seem too passionate or "matter of fact" from your perspective. I'm not sure why that is.

Re: My experience.. I think a difference in opinion would happen between any two knowflakes/people you can find -- regardless of their age, background, status, race, nationality and what have you. I don't have to be in perfect agreement with you in order to respect you. I do have respect for your thoughts and opinions and I'm sorry if this was not obvious.

Re: The other thread - I was telling people (not you in particular) that the thread was *for* Randall.. as in -- directed at Randall, because to ban *or* not to ban -- is his own decision.. so I thought it was a bit irrelevant and simply dragging the situation on for everyone to debate this in the thread. This is my opinion -only- and quite obviously I can't stop people posting their views. No one can tell you what to post or what not to post. That is your prerogative alone. But you already know that.

I just thought of something -- with what you said here in particular.
Is it possible that you are projecting some standard Aries-traits onto my behaviour.. because what you said sounds like something I would read in an Aries interpretation. We are all astro-buffs here so I guess this kind of thing could happen.

For example - Maybe I am saying *something* - whatever that may be.. and you are reading more "aggression" into it --- than I intended.. purely because you know my sign.

I don't know if that may be a reason. It's just something I thought of.

:edit: I also wanted to ask you - if you'd like to post an example of what you are referring to. I honestly didn't realize I made you feel so "bad" that you even felt like deleting posts. I would just like to see what it was I actually said to make you feel this way and where.

And I honestly don't think I have ever said the words "you are wrong" or "your thoughts are wrong" and "mine are right".. or anything to that effect -- to anyone here. Defending my perspective is not at all saying you are wrong. In fact I often say that to people when we are discussing something. I often say I COULD see that --- etc... I COULD see it as an option.. but right now - this is not where my mind is at.. or this is not what I have seen based on my own experience etc

I mean maybe I'm losing it lol I don't know.. I'd honestly like to see for myself where I said these things to you or someone else.. I'd like a quote and a link, if it's possible.

I don't personally think so. I think most of the popularity is in the taboo-ness -- "the "forbidden fruit" advertisement.

I think this applies for over-consumerism in general (food is another example.. I think something like - 1 in 4 are overweight in US). We simply don't have a need to eat as much as we are eating or kill as many animals as we are killing. Again the "desire" to over-eat -- just like the overdone sexual desire -- are *created* mainly through the media. Someone somewhere is always cashing in on this.. and as long as they are it keeps on keeping on.

But that's ^ unrelated.. Maybe I should ask - Why do you think they are horny for THE particular things that are on sale?

If the "standard" porn look was switched over and all porn magz had Mursi tribe - female pics.. I'm sure people would not be all over that, unless the look was publicized in the media and "sold" to them.

So - I'm sorry but I can't begin to believe that people set trends for themselves. The media sets the trends.

OK - That was not a post where I pussy-footed around -- True. But I also don't see where I believe to be "right" whilst you are "wrong". I said "from my perspective".. I said "I personally can't begin to believe this.. etc"... I said: "I don't think so myself". I do feel strongly about this topic. lol @ gotta watch those Aries.. but as I was just explaining - I'm honestly not sure where/how or why cpn felt like she couldn't go on with a debate or felt like deleting her posts.

I'm surprised - simply because I've been posting here for maybe 6 yrs now and no one has ever said that I made them feel so bad that they wanted to delete their posts..
I look at some of the things going on in GU where cpn is involved occasionally.. That has to be worse.. No?
