I just saw that on the news about an hour ago. LOL.It said that people spend an average of 5 hours watching TV per day. Wow! I don't even watch that per week. How boring. I just sit in front of the computer about 24/7 though.  And yes, I get the irony that I saw it on the news.  I was walking in and out of the room and it just happened to be on..... IP: Logged |

been without tv for looooooooooong time. can't plug the dim thing in where i am. and refuse to get 8 boxes to connect with wires so i can get a picture!miss it about once a month, maybe. watch movies at my daughter's, she couldn't pay her cable bill...but i need to play this stupid computer game at least 20 mins a day... My parents started watching HGTV this past year, and now (as a result no doubt) they're going to vacation in Costa Rica and perhaps retire there. I like HGTV, too. Candice Olsen is the bomb. I always wonder what sign she is. Oh, and I'm planning on winning their Dream House this year.  IP: Logged |

5 hours of TV a day!?!
I may have resembled that when I was unemployed, but I just don't have time nowdays. When I get home, take care of dinner for myself and the kid, make sure he's taken his bath and other odd jobs.. I may get a couple of hours a night....maybe.And CPN...

Listening to the radio today they said the report findings were for inactivity, as in sitting. That spending hours in front of a comp is the same as tv. The findings were for years lost. Makes me want to look the study up...or not IP: Logged |
