I swear if I smash my fingers into one more cabinet, car door, sharp object, I am going to scream!! I attribute this lovely condition, which I lovingly (haha) call "swiftly moving, unthinking hands" to my Aries rising...

Anyone else annoyed with a trait today? LOL

No, not today. I was annoyed a couple days ago when I split my left middle finger while typing. I've gotta remember not to be so intense while typing.

AG! You injured yourself while typing??? OMG, that is priceless! Just how hard are you typing??

Ghanima, I am annoyed at the very same thing. My dresser has a corner that sticks out farther then I'de like it to, but it's the only way my furniture fits in this small bedroom. Anyway, I've lived here since April, I KNOW it's there, but yet, almost every single morning as I stumble out of bed, I run right into it. It's so bad that I think the bruise is permanent! So, I'm not sure if it's my Aries Asc, or my general Sag ditsyness, or if it is just the fact that I'm always moving so fast, in a big hurry to get nowhere important!

It might have happened while I was annoyed with a co-worker that sings and hums loudly at her desk. My department's small cubicles are all crammed pretty tightly together, and we all have radios on our desks so that we can listen to our own music over the other's. I am the most respectful with my music. I'm always ensuring my music isn't too loud. This Taurus doesn't get that it's rude to sing and hum louder than the radios playing.

Yes, rude and then you are considered rude if you suggest that they turn it down, a paradox I will never understand. I like to say "who sings this?" and they say "oh, Joe Schmo and the Eye Spasms" and I say "exactly..." Let that sink in...

Okay, apparently I'm kinda firey today..

*edited to add: SOOOOO glad the Merc Retro is over today... That thing was killin' me.

Yeah. No one likes her, so it makes it difficult. She thinks I'm just being mean when I ask her to be quiet, but really I'm just trying to hear my own music, and it's not helped by her singing a counter melody.

Ewww, that would be annoying!

I only torture people with my loud off key singing in my car, I figure if I'm driving I can do whatever I want. Hmm, maybe that is why people always offer to drive instead of me driving???

things that make you go, hmmmmmm.

Merc Rx is over, Thank God! It's been a difficult week for me in the communications arena.

Yeah, we were just talking about one of my co-worker's newborn Virgo baby, and suddenly that Taurus turned her music up super loud. Apparently, talking about babies doesn't please her or something. I don't know who it was, but some random male came, and asked her to turn it down (and she did).

Edit: Just learned it was our Sag dept head.

That's another weird thing. I am so super conscious of other people's feelings in a situation, and I try really hard not to make anyone uncomfortable socially (work or anywhere really), but I think it's kind of off putting and rude when people literally freeze and change the subject when I bring up my daughter or other people talk about their kids. It hurts my feelings because I listen to them go on about what's happening in their lives, even if it doesn't interest or pertain to me, and I would think people would have the same respect for me or others that mention their children. I'm not forcing any ridiculous stories or anecdotes on them, I just don't understand that double standard.

Sometimes it gets painful to tiptoe all the time...

There could be a reason they act that way, they could be privately suffering fertility problems, says Libra Moon.

I have Venus SQ Mars and spend a lot of time telling myself to calm down. It annoys me I get annoyed so easily.

I would totally understand if that were the case, but it almost never is. I am always aware of the nuances that exist in conversations and how person A. B. C. or D. will react to certain things being brought up, I am a bit of a control freak and always try to spare anyone getting upset or uncomfortable. The situations I am referring to, it's like they are too into themselves to care, like "yeah yeah, now back to what I'm up to".. I know everyone has their own personalities, I am not suggesting that people change to suit ME, I guess I can just tell when other people are being hurt or feel under appreciated or undervalued when their lives seem to be of no importance to other people.

I'm sure that it happens the other way around too, if the majority were all parents talking about their kids, I'm just sharing it from my perspective.

*edited to add: This is my horoscope for today... Jeesh, figures..

quote:
Whether or not you yourself feel irritable, and you very likely will, today may be full of disputes and arguments, unless you try to understand other people's points of view. This is not a good day for trying to settle arguments, because both you and your opponent will become so firmly entrenched in your own position that neither of you will budge an inch. What you must recognize today is that your ego is thoroughly bound up with your opinions and that you are acting as if a challenge to your ideas were literally a challenge to your physical self. On rare occasions this may be the case, but usually it isn't. If you do have a real position to defend in any confrontation now, by all means work hard to defend it. Your energies will be equal to the occasion.

Aries rising?! You poor thing!!!

I always came home with bruises on my thighs. My partner would always ask those suspicious questions!

I'm sure they were from banging into desks, but I could never remember walking into them!! (Good point GypseeWind, about the Saggie thing - my moon is in Sag, and thighs are ruled by Sag).

Watch your head!!!

If anything, Aries will knock their head, or someone else will do it for them!!!

AG - a strategy to remind people of music volume. When a cool song comes on, turn it up loud and sing really loud with a happy soulful heart - end it with "I really love (dig ) that song".

Last week my 1 year old grandson decided to head butt my cheek. Then I stubbed my toe on the new ironing board because my partner didn't push back against the wall - I swear, living around people is dangerous!!!

I do a great job of banging up my head as well. I have a fake front tooth from thinking I could drive a motorcycle (and balance a friend on the back) while intoxicated when I was 14 or 15, lol.

But, yep, the thigh area does seem to take most of the damage, but I'm pretty good at hurting myself just about anywhere. LOL!
And tripping, Sag's inventing tripping over lint, and maybe some peices of hair or something.

***puts hand up***

Aries rising (and Sun, Venus & Merc). Oh yeah.

The worst - and main offense for me - walking into the doorway.
