I have been familiarizing myself with all that research on mushrooms. It is truly fascinating.

Urm, mushrooms and fungi are the same thing.

yes mushrooms are fungi exactly what i said was it not? tho not all fungi are mushrooms ..but penicillin was not discovered thru mushrooms but bread. roger rog? Actually I did know that they found penicillin on the fungi growing on bread. They teach that in HS.
My only mistake was that I said mushrooms (fungi with stems) not the more general fungi and then chose not to correct the misunderstanding thereafter as it wasn't worth arguing over.
