Soooo, I was at the doctor's office on saturday, reading one of those magazines you would never order.

Anyway, there was an article talking about some new studies concerning weight loss.

It said that these studies show that people who broke a good, healthy sweat everyday, loss more weight.

BUT, the best part (to me) was that, it doesn't have to be going to a gym, or jogging, or anything like that.

It can be ANY sweat inducing activity.

So, I'm trying it. Bathing suit weather IS looming, after all.

The other day, I burned 3 bags of fall leaves. I could of done it very laid back-ish, but I really got into it!
Then, the next day, I cleaned my bathroom like a madwoman. Scrubbed the enamel off, or so it felt like.

This is great for venting too!

So, basically, anything you do, you can do vigorously if you try.

Just thought I'de share.

It's funny you should post this because I recently read a Time article that said over doing it can add on the pounds. Did you read this. It's on the Net, I'll try to find it.

EDIT: Here it is.

* weight loss. **

saw this today ..

Seaweed ..
~ http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/england/tyne/8579472.stm ~
" The team found alginate - a fibre found in sea kelp - reduces the body's fat uptake by more than 75%. "

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
off topic .. but w.t.h. .. :-)
recently tried Seven Seas 'cranberrie forte' capsules ..
( they manage to squeeze the equivalent 5,000 mg of fresh cranberries into one capsule )
was curious how good they might taste ..
be like an oral taste explosion if one bites into them ..
gave a bottle of them to a female friend whose currently got some health issues ..
she said they have a pretty good 'feel factor' to them .. .. i'd agree ..
am now considering asking the local baker to mix a cap or two in with my next order of ..
freshly baked granary cobs :-))) ( cob be a small loaf )
"This looks interesting, but we could only start recommending it if the scientists were able to provide good evidence based on rigorous trials."
Come on scientists, get going with these trials!
you have to be kidding
i should wake up lighter every morning!
nevermind, nightsweats just make you lose your clothes, and if that was true, most women my age would be really thin. and that is just not that case.
