while feeling huge sympathy and sorrow for those who were injured, and understanding the nastiness of the hits on 9/11, i have to say "good riddance!!" to the buildings. what a travesty of civic planning they were...interfering with radio and tv transmission, blocking the view for everyone uptown (and that is pretty much the whole island), and a beacon to anyone who wanted to make a BIG STATEMENT against the US (as was proven not once but twice) i truly wish there would be no reconstruction of the monstrosities...went there as a tourist once and the view was magnificent, no denying that.
