I guess I relate to Linda most when she voices her convictions about meat-eating. It's funny, though. Not many people here agree with her (or Gandhi, or Einstein, or Buddha) on that one, and I've received very few "positive messages" for expressing it myself, lol. Quite the contrary. Isn't it ironic, when you realize that Linda would meet with a similarly nasty reception here for sharing those compassionate views?Positive thinking is great, but, like anything else, it can be taken to absurd extremes. Asserting something just because you want it to be true, or because it makes you feel good to believe in it, is plain foolishness. Denying things that make us uncomfortable is nothing new, and it's no "Secret", regardless of how it is being marketed. When we are motivated by blind optimism we tend to deny our limitations and refuse to see warning signs. The results can be tragic.
