Talents and traits
aquired over many lifetimes...

Insight into this or that
aspect of the human condition
or of the eternal dialogue
of opposing absolutes...

What doesn't go back in the box?

What time is well spent?

What book is worth reading?

Is it only love,
and books about love?

What about discipline?

Aesthetic or mechanical inclination?

Does anybody know
or claim to know?

Can anybody tell us
WHY they believe
what they believe?

Why do you think THIS stays,
while THAT goes back in the box?

Or, if you think nothing stays,
then, why do you think that?

And where do we go?

Do we go back in the box, too,
along with everything else?

Do we take only ourselves?

Do we return to the other world
as naked as the day before
the day we were born?

What do we look like then?
