I've been meaning to get this to you.
It's just a short note from an old Sydney Omar book I have.

Saturn in Gemini - You're a deep thinker with lofty ideals-a good position for scientific studies. You may be quite shy, speak slowly, or have fears about communicating, like Eleanor Roosevelt. You'll take shelter in abstract ideas, like Sigmund Freud, when you're dealing with emotional issues.

*** I need to check out that book you mentioned on the other thread.

My Saturn is in Gemini, too. It's opposite Mercury and trine Uranus. I missed the big thread today (until just now).

My Saturn is in Pisces. (7th house stellium)
My Jupiter is in Gemini (variety is the spice of life, no?)

How do you feel about public speaking Melody?

mermaid, it used to terrify me... I took the required speech class for college and it was nerve racking. Cap AC is shy... Virgo merc... For years I was terrified to sing in front of people and it is still hard to get it out in front of friends and family if we are just having a conversation and I want to add a little musical thought etc, but I can stand in front of a crowd with karaoke music blaring in the background now (well, after at least one drink) and I did present my grandmother with a gift from all the grandchildren and I did not feel *too* nervous so I think I would do better at it now. I used to think that the way I would reach troubled teens is to tour high schools and speak. I might have to think again on that.

Also, I still plan to type out your aspect(s) but I am also doing laundry and dishes and cleaning in between playing on the internet (you know expanding my mind and socializing !) so I haven't set my mind to typing it out yet. I'm wanting to type because I'm going to (waste my time and) take some clerical testing for yet another temp agency that will probably not give me a clerical position (even though my testing is 90-100% every time) but likes for you to go through the motions. So, the practice typing will benefit me.

Most people are terrified speaking front and center, so this is a little consoling to all of us. I know that I am.
I have had a lot of exposure to some amazing speaking arenas. I have bypassed the chance for free training as a speaker many times. Yes, I am stubborn as heck when it comes to this. I am getting better and gaining more confidence with this. Those little practice opportunities are good building blocks.
I sang in a bar once too, with about 5 drinks in me. I'm not that comfortable in bars anyways. This isn't very Piscean of me.
I somehow feel that you are like me, that you have an important message to deliver and I know that stepping through that doorway will bring great rewards.

I love this saying from one of my mentors.
"Your mess is your message." This woman is an English teacher and minister's wife. She has taken her childhood pain to start a powerful and much needed study program. She teaches young girls how to be self-confident, so that they can be wise in their personal relationship choices. Truly a message after my own heart.

Take as much time as needed with the info.
