DUE TO GODZALA'S POPULARITY AMONGST SOME FOLKS HERE..... PERHAPS FOLKS MIGHT WANT TO ASK RANDALL TO START A NEW FORUM SPECIFICALLY FOR GODZALA AND OTHER SUCH "HUMOUR" THREADS! Then like the GUs, folks would know that if and when they enter there, that there may be the risk of being offended or whatever. After all, humour and comedy are not in a one style fits all folks' tastes category. That would let LLC2 be for other diverse, general, random topics. I agree, when it was a few threads, it was the appropriate forum. However it does not take a genius to see very clearly that the Godzala threads did appear to be rather prolific and so it just seems logical to give them their own forum. I mean...if ANY KIND OF TOPIC were to become so pervasive, as to have soooo many threads devoted to it, well it should have its own forum, or else it appears to be rather spammish or monopolizing of a forum not dedicated exclusively to it. But I would not post most of it at LL with rare exception. There is a time and place and threads have been closed and even deleted in the past that were not as wild as some of the Godzala ones in some ways. LOL! But most got rather wild! LOL! I had even been naughty on those! And lambasted fairly heavily for doing so to boot! Actually the Godzala Zones are usually very VANILLA by comparison! (AG was part of the having "fun" group, so he should remember that I am not a party pooping prude!) So I am not without sympathies for folks wanting to have "fun". It has appeared to me that things have become more lax and more "naughtiness" is being allowed...not censorship as it was a few years ago. I did/do not have time to play there. my point precisely this is how i generally expect a grownup to react...and having been asked not to participate in someone's threads and found it impossible to communicate with him so he gets what i am trying to say, i will honour that request. i will NOT ask the "grownups" to limit him to one thread at a time, or to keep the limit to a certain size. i don't need policing or protecting. not because i don't have feelings but because i consider them MY business. It would be nice to have a forum here at LL that is totally devoted to humor! That way too, once folks get used to the different types of humor enjoyed by any individual, they will know from a glance in the future if they want to look or not! PS. Musette Knowflake Posts: 279 From: Registered: May 2009	posted May 05, 2010 08:10 PM There are many posts in LLC2 that don't really "belong" here as there are already forums for them: poetry and stories, health news, occasional astrology blurbs, etc. Poetry and fictional things are pretty prevalent in LLC2 for whatever reason. I don't understand the importance of quarantining anything potentially humorous while other things that do have a separate forum keep being posted here. Besides, 99% of Godzala was quelled months ago and a lot of the members left. It's limited to one thread. It's not very hard to avoid one thread! LEXX, you know I like you and I enjoy your posts - and if you don't then now you do! And I get that you want to be fair and I do appreciate that (that's why I thought you would be a good moderator for here). I just honestly don't understand why the already neutered Godzala stuff is suddenly being subjected to scrutiny if it isn't currently overtaking LLC2 or causing problems. IP: Logged

I think if something becomes out of balance (ie. popular) and brings people together it deserves its own home. Why do people create separate forum for a particular subject in the first place? I wouldn't say Godzala's intention was to ridicule other folk. But what I do know was that one particular attack shocked some people and they communicated that shock with a flippant discussion to cope with that sudden burst. When there was an 'attack' of sorts (which did happen a couple of times), sensitive Knowflakes communicated their anxiety openly. Godzala was a forum to come together with a humour that was uplifting. All the worries of the world were lost in a Godzala thread. It had mental health benefits and attracted those who understood the power of communal laughter. IP: Logged

Other sites do it! I mean, we have forums for specific topics or related ones here...so why not a comedy/humor forum. Yin wondered why I had not suggested it before when Randall wanted another forum. Well, I was concerned about it not being considered seriously and p!ssing some folks off. As to Valus having a Valus forum... THAT IS STUPID! Same for any person having their own forum! PEOPLE ARE NOT TOPICS! KTAA IS LIKE EACH PERSON HAVING THEIR OWN MINI FORUM. And a comedy/humour forum would be great to have! I have posted humour threads before and oddly no one commented.
