In honor of Mother's Day, right around the corner, lets talk about our moms and their ability to love unconditionally. And we all know we have tested that! lol... so, yes, a bit of a different slant on the appreciation of mom....I want to hear stories about what is the worst thing you ever did to your mom and she got over it and didn't sell you to the gypsies (my mom always threatened that, still not sure what that means). My story: When I was about 8, my mom wanted to send out our living room rug for cleaning. It was about 10' x 10', bright orange shag, all the rage in the 70's. When they pulled the couch out from the wall they discovered all the food I didn't want to eat for the past year. It was lunch hour for me and I was there, and I refused to help clean it up. I just stood their smugly watching my poor embarressed mom clean it all up while the carpet pick-up guy stood there talking about how discusting that was. ;o....Ok that wasn't the worst thing. I also stole money out of her purse on a regular basis, but she never mentioned that...? Her bad. Or she didn't notice? I also called her an unfit mother when I was 14 because she couldn't afford to let me go to camp with a kid's club I was in. She went ballistic over that one! She was trying to pound down the bathroom door to get to me after I said that. I said it through a closed & locked bathroom door. That was the most upset I think I ever made her. But, she still loved me 20 minutes later. She's a Sag, with Libra moon. Don't know her rising though. IP: Logged |

Lionseye, that's crazy, when I was 7 I used to put the food I didn't eat behind the dresser for a long, LONG time. What's worse is that I was a super-finicky eater and would act as though I had already eaten the food and my mom and grandmother would make me more food and I would sneak and throw it behind the dresser :/When I was discovered I snuck out of the house lol.
