i do thus invoke the ancient birthday rite of hurling noodles at well-wishers .. ( noodling: term used for catching catfish by hand .. thought to originate in southern usa
( noodling: term used by guitarists for instrumental day-dreaming ..
( which could be expanded into ' random experiments according to mood ' ..
( hence the potential for 'drifting' and sudden diversions .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ current residential environment does not facilitate playing at pub sound levels ..
indeed .. even a solid-body unplugged .. and played with gusto .. would disturb the sleep of neighbours ..
and given a preference for reclining as opposed to standing when noodling
well .. 'laid-back' is instinctive .. as is a lite touch as opposed to string-thrashing :-)
( no mic-in-front-of-amp either .. only direct-to-line for recording .. ) 13th o' may was an attempt tp provide ambience to a pic posted in a now-locked thread ..
the idea was to try a version of 'cocaine' .. suffice to say it didn't work out ..
and was abandoned ( given the target had been locked in anycase )
however .. the day being what it was .. layzee dreamy self-indulgent transits about ..

the 15th looks to be like a lazy day :-) cake on a trolley flaming neons magic flower bearer 'n wide-eyes-in-a-trance :-)
