Freedom from bondage by breaking the chains of negative Karma is my greatest lesson to learn and teach.Stepping over the threshold, into the realm of true forgiveness is the ultimate freedom. It is the moment that grace enters, doorways of possibilities open, and clarity of vision manifests miracles. The wise owl sees in the dark of the night and silence is truly golden. Words are swords to fight a losing battle and living well is truly the best revenge. My personal hope is to remember and apply the Karmic lesson from my Scorpio South Node 29 degree placement. May I soar like a majestic eagle, victorious over my own poisons. I have read Linda's books and one profound insight I truly love is her following view, on Karma, from Star Signs, pg. 147 ... Image your horoscope as your karmic playpen, where you are confined for your own good (to work out your necessary Karma). In the microcosm example of the baby, when it grows stronger and wiser, it's lifted out of the playpen, and has the freedom to wander about as it chooses. The same with you when you've grown spiritually strong enough and mentally wise enough to wander by yourself and make your own mistakes (new Karma) if you choose, which I hope you don't. This is called being under the law of Instant Karma, (with Karma from all past lives erased and paid in full) which is a heavy soul test in itself, as we'll soon see.... Another lesson that I'd like to share is from a personal experience that I learned back in 3rd grade from my dear wise mother... I can have quite a "smart mouth" and I got caught passing a not so nice note about the nun. ... Never put anything in writing you don't want anyone else to see... In this day of electronic data we are to be even more accountable for our words. They have the power to make or break us. As an ex Human Resources manager, there is something to be said for good character. We are all mighty capable of nailing ourselves to the cross and we save our own souls.

Wise words Mermaid. Having a Scorpio SN, I can relate. As far as putting things in words, that is a toughie! I agree with you in principle, but some of the most important things I've ever written, should never be seen. I suggest having good hiding spaces. IP: Logged |

I have my secret notebooks too! I have a sister who likes to send "poison pen" letters as my other sister says. She recently lost her job to her own undoing. I told my sister she should write out her feelings, but to never again send me another letter or email like that to me again. I had to set my boundaries and not be her target for abuse. It took me until I was 43 to tell her how much she hurt me but the truth shall set you free. IP: Logged |

“It is up to you. You do not have to start working miracles. You just have to get hold of a little book written about Buddha… about Jesus…, about Shri Krishna… about Sankachara, and study it. That is all you have to do. And Study it. Then apply the theory to your mind and act upon it. That is the answer. THAT IS THE ANSWER. These Great Masters I have mentioned were specially trained in the high Cosmic Mystery Schools before they came in sacrifice to Terra. They did not guess at anything at all. They knew exactly – EXACTLY – what they were saying and how to say it and WHEN to say it. They were trained by the Great Cosmic Adepts of Saturn Itself – all of these Masters were – and given High Cosmic Initiation before apparent terrestrial birth. So there was nothing hit or miss about it – it was hit, and hit only. What they said was True – not complete, of course not, - nothing can speak complete Truth – it is above sound – but their Truth was complete enough to put Terra back into the Realms of Light from which she fell. ” ~ Master Aetherius, November 24, 1956 “There comes a turning point in the lives of all of us. This is the focal point of your life, like the hub of a wheel... The turning point comes when you devote your life to God wholeheartedly – without reservation; without reservation, without any reservation! When you do this, all the Powers, all the Inspiration, and all the knowledge are yours!... There is no doubt that the greatest magic on this Planet is created by those whose every deed is done in the Name of Almighty God. This outlook brings strength and power way above the norm to all those who make such dedication in their hearts and Souls... The journey back to the Source is inevitable. It is up to each self-conscious individual to pick the time when they start this journey in real earnest.... If you would be wise, then start an investment today by putting good, unselfish deeds into a Spiritual bank account which will pay the highest dividends of all... And I know from my own experience that when you do this you will be guided and given the strength and knowledge to succeed and evolve.”

Thanks Valus for always directing me to good information. I "see" so much just in the name Aetherius. ------------------ The moment one definitely commits oneself, providence moves too. All sorts of things then begin to occur that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance which no one could have dreamed would come this way. Anything you can do or dream, begin it! Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. ~ Goethe IP: Logged |

Mermaid, that Goethe quote reminds me of:"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." -- Confucius Goethe, of course, is a much better poet and a Westerner. IP: Logged |

Thanks Yin. I love the beautiful images. I like when East meets West. Yes, gratitude and acceptance for the totality of my own experiences, this is what opened my heart.IP: Logged |

Always loved that Goethe quote. quote:
Aether (mythology) originally was the personification of the "upper sky", space and heaven, in Greek mythology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aether

That was a huge milestone in personal development!! The above picture of the woman with her hands showing the path of enlightment.... The spine plays a huge part in delivering messages from our brain to the rest of our body. We need the spine to take the natural wisdom of healing to our body so we can feel 'wholesome'. IP: Logged |

The spine yes, I'm trying to keep mine straight and strong...I've got mild scoliosis...so it's extra important for me to maintain good posture. I've been blessed with good therapists. Now if I could be disciplined at yoga, my next goal.IP: Logged |

Affirmations too. I never believed in that before. I thought it was hokey. I thought if something sucked it sucked for a reason, and telling yourself it doesn't suck, won't change the sucky-ness.I was wrong. Surprise! lol. I have been psyching myself out with affirmations before work, and it's done wonders on my attitude. Hmm, was that off topic? Sorry if it was, I guess all the words everyone wrote, reminded me of the words we tell ourselves. xox. IP: Logged |

Not off topic Gypsee. Affirmations are a necessity for me. Jupiter in Gemini and all the Virgo in my chart and I'm battling the negative voice 24/7.The new moon in Taurus is making me see lots of RED and my tongue is about to fall off from biting down so hard. I'm tired of all the haters but that just means I still have hater in me. So the self-mastery continues... I've got a house full of 5 girls 7-11 to entertain so that's keeping me straight. Remember the Little Rascals and the "He Man Woman Haters Club." I'm feeling sorry for men these days. I have a friend who wife has made up all sorts of false charges against him and I saw this coming years ago. My brother was married to a psychotic who tried to harm him. Maybe it's because I am a Pisces and have to see so much crap... Sorry, I'm venting... It's like I've always told my mom, I just know that I'm not from this planet.

"It seems to me that even the bluntest word, the bluntest letter is still more good-natured, still more honest, than silence. Those who remain silent are almost always lacking in delicacy and politeness of the heart. Silence is an objection, and swallowing things down unnecessarily makes for a bad character -- it even upsets the digestion. All who remain silent are dyspeptic. Clearly, I would not have bluntness underestimated: it is by far the most humane form of contradiction and, amid modern pampering, one of our foremost virtues." ~ Nietzsche, Ecce Homo

You are right Valus. Silence in my meditation. Prayer to guide my words. Speaking honestly. To be well integrated.Like the words from an Edie Brickell song, "There's nothing I hate more than nothing. Nothing keeps me up at night." IP: Logged |
