We're moving in two weeks to a lovely city on the beach - Our house is just 1 1/2 blocks from the water. It's gorgeous. I just discovered that the city was founded in December 1912 so the Centennial Celebrations will be going all crazy in December 2012!! How fitting I end up there. WOOT! End of the world party!!!!!! You're moving back to the future?! Are you dating a guy named McFly or something? Well, congratulations on your new home! I lived right by the ocean for a few years and loved it. I'm sure you will enjoy it a lot!IP: Logged |

What do you think is going to happen on 12/12/12? I have to admit I'm worried. My baby girl will be turning 4 the next day, God willing. IP: Logged |

I think you gotta take psychic's with a grain of salt, but..I worked with a psychic. She said "IT"'s not going to happen in 2012, but at the end of 2011. I'm not building an underground hide out just yet

You plan your vacations that far out?! I wish I were that organized. I don't know yet what I'll be doing in December 2012. I wonder if people will be as panicky as they were about the 1999-2000 New Year's Eve. Remember people worrying that their bank accounts would shut down and computers would lock everything up? The most realistic and scientifically substantiated theory out there seems to be, that it will be a year of very high solar flare activity. This is based on a record of patterns, and this one has a track record of being particularly intense. If our ozone layer is as depletes as we're told, and if we keep depleting it further, I think we're in big trouble. The hotest parts on the planet could see things bursting into flames spontaneously. It would be too hot to walk around outside during the day. Your skin would blister in seconds. What little bodies of water there are, will soon dehydrate completely. I mean, it's not a good scene. Even at altitudes closer to the poles will suffer from heat, as well as melting polar caps, causing shorelines to rise ridiculously. I think the safest places to be are extreme northern or southern lattitudes, but away from bodies of water.Just my opinion. Or something. IP: Logged |
