As excited as I was 3 years ago when I first discovered Pandora Radio,
the inability to pick and listen to the exact songs I wanted drove me crazy.
I abandoned the radio soon thereafter.

Then last week somebody told me about
Grooveshark

Try it. You'll like it. It may not be around for long.

I found this in February, and then forgot about it, with all that was going on. I was able to find several things that I couldn't find on Youtube.

I was also bugged by the inability to choose exactly what I wanted to listen to on Pandora.

So Pandora played me a song off of James' last album today. I never bought the album despite having owned every previous album. I was very thankful to hear them, and I enjoyed the song regardless of having heard it before. It made me glad that James will be paid for my listen. Pandora, unlike terrestrial radio, has to pay royalties not only to the songwriter(s), but also to the group performing the song. I like that. No one gets screwed, and everyone wins. So I think I'm staying with Pandora for now.

James probably won't be (or wasn't) successful with their comeback, but at least they can continue to receive checks thanks to the likes of me.
