Orignally we were to go to Edmonton, Alberta bit that was cancelled right at the last minute and I was not a happy camper.....

We decided to drive to Radium Hot Spring, BC. We had a nice drive and that is such a beautiful highway. We stopped at Invermere and sat by this gorgeous lake. My 7 year old had fun looking at all the things in the forest etc.

There is a place there called Bugaboo Provincial park - sadly we were unable to visit but we stopped by a Sign that pointed to Bugaboo and my & year old posed near the sign. Her nickname I gave her when she was just a tiny baby was Bugaboo. We even passed by a Bugaboo Cafe as well in Golden, BC.

We stayed the night in Golden and I think it was the greatest idea ever this weekend. We took our time coming back to the monster of a city called Calgary. We stopped along the way and saw more waterfalls and interesting places.

We saw a dozen mountain goats, 4 elk, 1 bear, half dozen deer and a few other animals. We got some neat snap shots too! I nice close up of a mountain goat at the side of the highway.

so WOW! What a excursion this weekend...I thought I would share this with the world.

The Motel that we stopped at had the most comfortable beds I have rested on!

Love going out and exploring the area. Hard to do that now, so, staying up (when I can) or getting up (when I can) to see the rise of the Sun. Very hot, very bright, and a nice window from 10pm to 4am to sleep and avoid the night.

A beautiful world we have been given.
