This is something that irks me to no end. People who use it as an excuse for not changing and improving. *insert complaining tone here* But I've got flabblesnatch in crunk. I can't possibly stop my (fill in the blank) behaviour.Oh no, because that would take some hard work wouldn't it. Some effort. Some mindfulness. Oh poor poor baby! Bah-Humbug. Ok rant over. Oh Thank Goddess I'm not alone here!!!I just want to tell these people to STFU already. There's people out there with REAL problems, you know like not having enough to eat, bombs dropping outside their house, or h3ll even ON their house... Did either of you ever see this online? I can't find a picture of it now, but it's all back, and it says in large letters: STOP IT

It should be dawning on everybody that it's not always one simple event that "happens" to you It is often only you who will have to do things differently that is what makes the change how YOU are going to change things how YOU are going to act openly to shift your own patterns of behavior. I agree. It's ridiculous to use anything in an astrology chart as an excuse. It's the same as saying, "Oh, I have to be a jerk to everyone because I was born with brown hair!" The same goes for the whole "I'm superior to others because of my astrology chart" shtick. Bunnies,  IP: Logged |

I hate when people tell me my problems are not real..like no shat there not real to you because your not experiencing them are you..For example some white heterosexual female griped about how discrimination against black gay women is ridiculous..I seriously wanted to tell her how effin ridiculous she was being.. I takes one to know one. I always stress that free will is the ultimate factor. I believe that Astrology is about synchronicity and not cause and effect. I don't like when people blame something that goes wrong in their lives because of something in their charts. I also don't like when people are afraid to do something because of some transit.
I think that I get the most annoyed when people pin communication problems,arguments, and just not seeing eye to eye on things on a retrograde Mercury.
It could just be that a person doesn't share one's views. I also just can't stand Sunsign Astrology. It's so limiting. I definitely get annoyed when people try to pin down as a Scorpio because my Sun is in that sign. I definitely don't like people dictating to me what my lessons because I have Sun in Scorpio. I like for people consider my whole chart. I want people to see the overall picture when it comes to me and not just focus on one thing and then judge me on it. If they do that, then they miss out on me.
I do think that people that use Astrology as a crutch support the arguments of critics against Astrology in regards to using Astrology dismiss responsibility in one's life.

Now this is an entirely different issue. I dislike that as well. And as far as that woman telling you discrimination doesn't exist. OMG! Absolutely. I hate when people state that they can't help it because "insert sign here". Don't they realize we do have free will and are more than a sum of our planetary positions? I also can't stand people that automatically exclude people based on their signs. I remember meeting someone and they said 'Oh, I NEVER get along with Saggies, you are all party animals that never take the world seriously". Umm.. okay. Not a big loss to me LOL. I think there is so much to a person other than their sign or other planetary positions but to others, that is all their is (or their excuse for their behaviour). IP: Logged |

Apart from predicting and making money from predictions (I have some horses as clients, who are just down the road in a field) astrology is there to understand yourself and others. Changing and improving is a result from that.
You don't have to be an expert or to use astrology in the correct way. Look at the houses, any empty ones, consider it an area of life that needs improving, or look at a house with lots of planets and consider that area of life to work on, even if it's fine. At it's most basic, astrology is a tool (a very accurate tool) which can be used for suggestions. Very much like you can use astrology as a calender. Wow, imagine if it was a real calender! (you can feel the sarcasm)All those: y'know, like, I mean, y'know, it was my chart y'know. Look, handbag cheap. All those and a fair few younger ones getting into astrology who use it as an excuse, or cause of things, can be a little misguided with the blame. A planet likely showed an event that happened, more in the way of being a clock rather than making something happen. Just the language used. Yeah, personal free will is available to all.

Perhaps I'm in the minority here, but people using astrology as a crutch
or as means to show their perceived superiority over others doesn't bother me at all.
If they choose to rely on it or use it as an excuse for not improving, that's their business,
their lesson, their drama & their path - not mine.
