Ello to all my lovable Aussie beach babes!!

Well - whaddaya know - we have a female prime minister!

I'm actually excited about it

It's interesting that Julia Gillard has an early Libra Sun. Considering the grand cross at the moment, one would imagine she'd have a difficult time.. but wow I guess that Uranian action is really working for her!

Katatonic - I didn't think of that. But interestingly Saturn is exactly conjunct Kevin Rudd's Sun/Mars in Virgo - at the moment.

It's not quite in Libra yet.
Maybe Saturn can bring either reward or punishment depending on the actions of the person.

I did feel sorry for Kevin Rudd.. It was very sad to see him leave and his speech was touching.

But I am still excited that we have a female prime minister.

I was surprised this thread got no other replies - so bumping it!

Well I'm glad we have the right redhead ranga leading our country and not the other one (pauline hanson, please explain why you are still around?)

I don't admire the way she f*cked over K-Rudd cos I voted him in.
Plain and simple, it is NOT democracy because she was NOT elected to serve the Australian ppl.

But I will say, I do admire her in the sense that she seems like a down to earth woman. I like the fact she lives in my city (shout out to Melbourne! Yeah!) and lives in Altona in a normal, oldish house. Altona is a disgusting, low socioeconomic suburb in the West that's run by Lebonese and Turkish gangs. Lots of problems in that area.

But its cool that I live in a nicer house than our PM.

As for the August election, i WILL be voting her in b/c she's a much better choice than that Tony Abbott and his disgusting speedos. That man and his puritanical beliefs, particularly those concerning abortion of which I am extremely sensitive about, will drag Australia back to the Dark Ages. I hate him.

Kevin Rudd was really good for our country. It's sad that he left when he did the right thing. Money and power rules every country just like bp even rules America and people with money control what goes on, not the elected leaders! Kevin was right in wanting to tax the mining companies. Julia gillard seen it as an opportunity and took advantage but she only stepped up because she was next in line after him..

This is obviously very technical and political and it disturbs me something like that can happen and noons voted for Julia gillard so why is she running this country? Exciting as it might be having a female prime minister she has no idea what she's doing.

She even stopped asylum seekers from entering the country and used the lives as an excuse! She's been on the job for a few weeks and shes already failing. Those asylum seekers come from Afghanistan and war torn countries and come seek help from us after we send an army down to shoot and kill their families. We as a multicultural country have an obligation to other people around the world to care for them as much as we don't want outsiders as long as there is war and as long as we are involved we should be helping.

I guess this is very technical but I wont be voting for her. I hope some how kevin Rudd can come back. They should tax those mining companies!!!

I agree that Kevin Rudd did good things. I was quite disappointed to see him go, but I hope that Julia Gillard wins the election. I think she'll do great things given the chance. At this point I'm even hoping that Skippy gets more votes than Tony Abbott. That guy is ridiculous.

He's a fkn joke. I can't stand him. Even John Howard would be better than Abbott. I'll immigrate if he's PM.

As for Gillard..well, I guess its choosing the better of 2 sh1t options.
We've always had an asylum seeker/boat ppl problem, I remember having to do assessments on it in yr12. I just want to see what she's gonna do about the increasing violence, cos its really becoming a problem here. I'm sick of reading all about it everyday in the Herald Sun.

Lol you know in Sydney wogs were a big problem but this place cleaned up really well after the bikie war and new laws on bikies. They all went down in one hit, now it's good and the new generation arnt trouble makers like us born in the 80's. They're kinda strange, weird and keep to themselves.

That's it, I'm moving to Sydney cos Melbourne has gone to sh1t. We've got bikie gangs moving in all over the joint setting up clubhouses, the Herald Sun had a field day when the Bandidos moved to Port Melbourne.

I grew up in Coburg which is Lebbo central, they're still not over the stupid Cronulla riots, the Northern suburbs are full of little tryhard wog muzztek chocs who have a permanent hard on since Underbelly came out, now everyone's somehow connected to it and cos its still relatively in recent times it just keep going on and on and on and on and on(*rolls eyes*), after the King st shooting (of which i was working nxt door that night) going out is just sh1t cos everyone wants to fight, Victorian police are known to be corrupt as anything, there's so much racial violence and racial gangs now with the Vietnamese and Sudanese and Somalians that now they have populated certain areas so much that they're ghettos.

Melbourne sucks. It was great when I moved here from NSW 9yrs ago but it really has dropped in standard but I think I really do prefer NSW government, esp after learning about the way they cleaned up police corruption. You think that Victoria would EVER have a Royal Commission? Ha! As if the politicians and government bodies protecting them would allow it.

LOL. Just goes to show that people will try to attach themselves to notoriety, even if it's in their own egos.

John Howard did some good things but sending troops to Iraq really did him in and people forgot all the other stuff.

I don't understand why Tony Abbott is where he is. He's really the best they've got!!! Seriously? I can't believe that even one person would vote for him.

PA, I personally think Ted Ballieu would do a great job for Liberal, even if he is a snob maybe he can raise the Aussie standard from "bogan" to on par with "normal".

Lol I really liked the recent Sydney underbelly, found it incredibly entertaining but I was wondering, "hmm i wonder how much is fact and the rest made up??".
I wonder if even though the storyline isn't kosher, whether the way they depicted life in KC was accurate cos in the Melb one even though the plot was filled in and nobody will ever know the truth behind that entire thing, they depicted Melbourne, the scene, the people, the way life is lived here PERFECT.
Lol yeah apparently, even I've been accused of being gangster (wtf??) and I get "respect" b/c I grew up in the areas where it all happened LMAO.

Hahahah oh poor Carl, every dog has their day, right? I laughed my skinny butt off then got furious when I read in the paper he was buried in a gold casket exactly like Michael Jackson's. I was absolutely appalled at the glorification of this guy who was known to be an absolute dumbas$.

The only thing I miss about Carl is his drugs..I quit when he went into jail HAHAHAHAHA cos yeah, the quality is just pathetic so there's no point partying like that anymore. At least he was good for something, even if it was my forced sobriety LMAO

Firstly I'm a bit confused..

PA are you from OZ? LOL you sound like you know more than me about our politicians? hehe

and Diablo I was going to post up Carl Williams chart but then I wasn't bothered.

You know hes a Libra sun with a Pisces moon?

My dad has those placements too and he at times can be psychotic as well.

How strange.

Hm I suppose it'd be interesting to see but then if you're gonna post his, might as well post up Mr. Gangitano's or Mr. Gatto's as well and look into the whole thing. Who can be bothered? lol

I'm surprised at the Pisces moon, I have found that some ppl with a strong pisces influence tend to be involved with drugs somehow, esp if their 2nd, 8th or 10th house cusp is ruled by Pisces, as it rules illusions and I guess drugs would come into that.

My dad has Libra Rising, Pisces moon and an Aquarian sun..when you push him to his limit he can get psycho.
