Well, looks like he was arrested in February for manslaughter of 4 people who died in this sweat lodge thing he created. People who worked for him talk about him watching people being dragged out while he sat by the door near the fresh air. He kept telling people who wanted to leave that they weren't believing enough or putting their all into it or something like that. They screamed out one girl's name and said she wasn't breathing right and he said they would take care of it after the next session. One of the people finally called the ambulance and when they got there it looked like a mass suicide or that scene from Gone With The Wind with all of the bodies lying around on the ground, outside the sweat lodge.

Some girl died from jumping off a parking garage while doing his "pretend to be a homeless person" exercise the year before and he just went on with the scheduled events of the day and the black tie dance that evening.

The problem is he was charging these huge amounts of money for everything and doing a better job of attracting the money of all of the people he was supposedly teaching to attract money into THEIR lives. When they arrested him for the sweat lodge thing he had this huge pharmacy of diet pills and steroids along with some herbal stuff so they say he wasn't being quite honest about attracting health into his life.

It just looks like the guy is irresponsible, self-absorbed, and greedy. Which is what I think of all Get Rich Quick self help guys in the first place. I really liked The Secret though. I guess it just shows why ancient wisdom isn't meant to be given without the proper building of knowledge and responsibility before hand. The guy was a black magician using the Power to bring himself personal wealth and recognition without the proper reverence for the people he was supposed to be teaching.

Oh, anyway, his trail is today or was today when they taped the ABC show. It was called, "Mind Games". Watch if you have a chance.

I looked at your link right away but I was intending to read the whole thread before I replied and then got distracted and of course the browser ended up crashing tonight when I got on and I lost all of my tabs and forgot I was ever reading it.

I was going to say something along the lines of: that is exactly it. And I thought from the very beginning that it had the slight flavor of the wish yourself rich stuff that I consider stupid selfish evil monkey's paw variety wishes black magic etc but there was also something so GOOOOD about sharing spiritual principals with SO MANY people. I am disappointed that he is the way he is... his soul was put in the position to affect a great area/large energy field and he failed.

I just got an email this morning from the Secret ~ "Just imagine the car I want", no matter the price and I will attract it. Then it went on about other material possessions. I have a car, it's 20 years old, it gets me around and I am sooo happy with that. My intentions are better spent helping people and animals.

The guy on the secret who said he received cheques in the mail because he visioned receiving cheques was actually a scam he created to receive those cheques. lmao! It was on the news here a couple of years ago.
