Ours is 7.25 per hour. I make 6.50, but I'm a tipped employee.Someone should tip the chicken man. I hope, at least that he gets to eat free!! IP: Logged |

Man. I hate that, tipped employees make less than min. wage. I always did. Because you always get some jerko who thinks that you make a mint or something, because they don't tip. IP: Logged |

Yeah, we have a few that are so tight they squeak when they walk.BUT, some others make up for it. The best customers to have are OTHER tipped employees, because they know what it's like! I sat and figured it out one day, when I was not earning my 6.50, and I averaged everything out, so, basically I make 16.00 or so an hour, figuring in tips. Sometimes less, sometimes more, that is an average. I was proud that I did that math! So, it's not as bad as poor Chicken Man. God Bless his heart!! *Thanks for the Linky, Winky!!

Gypsee!! Wow, that's awesome that you bring home that much. I bet it differs from job to job. Here I think they pay a little over $2/hour for a waitress job. And you see these places like Denny's that look sometimes like they don't get much business at all and you gotta wonder how much that hurts the staff. I thought about becoming a waitress at one time because I thought if you get a job at a place that gets a lot of traffic, you could probably sweep in the cash lol. But honestly, I'm a bit of a whimp. I don't think I could stand on my feet for long.Poor chicken guy.... IP: Logged |
