Gypsee.. The bit about pinching reminds me of what my son did to me this past week. We were out shopping and he asked me "mom what was Michael Jackson famous for saying?" I said, "I don't know, what? <suspiciously>" He then pinched my arm and I said OWWWW lol.. he's such a cutie but such a turd!!Okay and that would be True.. I have always had major trust issues. I blame my Saggie ASC, but I was honest with my son about Santa because I didn't want to lie to him. His trust in me is very valuable and I didn't want to taint that. It did cause me to question my parents when I found out the truth... but honesty is important to me. TNP still has something from childhood that they loved like maybe a teddy bear or blankie...

I do... I have the dress I wore in the Easter Parade, at school when I was 5. I have a polaroid camera my Dad bought me, when I was 8 or 10 years old... several books, that my sister has kept in great condition, in a file box. Before we moved, in the late 90's, I also had a doll that a woman/family friend named May, made for me when I was 7. I'm probably forgetting a few things, but we lost more in the international move.re: Santa. I asked mum, one day, if it was true that Santa didn't really exist. I'd heard the rumour at school, and just sort of shrugged my shoulders. There's still magic in the world, in ways. (I also almost made pizza from scratch last night. And I never pinched my sister - I'm the one who everyone else pinches, including strangers - especially when I was younger.) ... and I can't think of anything for TNP. So this post doesn't really count. (Unless I think of something before somebody else posts.) IP: Logged |

Oh yes! When homeless, living on the streets, betcha I did! (in my knickers/bra/boot......wherever) And when having to walk home from work through a bad part of town, after 1AM even when I had a place to live. Carried a bayonet too in several situations. Oddly the openly carried bayonet was legal but the switchblades not.The np has a vintage car. IP: Logged |

True, a 1966 champagne colored Corvette. Stingray. Actually it's kinda silvery/champagne. BUT (there is always a but, isn't there) it's in Florida, and my father won't let me bring it home, unless I carry FULL coverage insurance on it. (GULP, EXPENSIVE) !! So, I leave it there, in his loving care. Besides, I have no garage, and it isn't really very practical with kids. I'de have them strapped to the roof. But, one day, ahhhh, one day..... ZOOM!!!TNP has TP'D a house on Halloween, or other such trick vs. treat. IP: Logged |

LOLOL on the car.. I'd probably keep it at dad's house just to keep it away from my kids haha.TRUE! When I was in high school our honor choir was having an overnight and we decided to TP the choir director's house. Then we felt guilty so the next morning we went over to her house with donuts and orange juice and un-TP'd her house lol. TNP same question IP: Logged |

I LOVE Wally Lamb. I love that book, Gypsee. The main character came alive and walked in to your living room lolOK YES--one day--I burst out crying when I went to have drinks with a group of people. I thought my guy had broken up with me. They said,"How are you doing?" I,literally, burst in to tears. I put my head down on the table and cried while they all looked on, horrified LOL ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. IP: Logged |

Ami I can totally see myself doing that too LOL. I get so freaking emotional sometimes it's embarrasing! Another thing I hate is when I'm at the movies with someone I "like" and it gets emotional... I'll sit there and tell myself "don't cry, don't cry" ... as I dig my nails into my jeans or the seat trying to hold it in.. lol. TNP has danced with the devil in the pale moon light..lol. (I just wanted to say that) Okay..no, seriously.. TNP lives in a place that doesn't snow...?
