yourself well enough to come into this topic and reveal any one, or all of the following 3 things:A)what traits you dislike in yourself - what are they?, and if you see any of those same traits in yourself, in another member here? if so, which member? B)a member here that posses traits you admire and wish to incorporate more of into yourself? C)and by choice to answer - is there a member you haven't interacted with on here that you would like to? perhaps more often or again? on or off these forums. if so, which member is it? or if you would like, would you explain why you would like to? thanks for reading IP: Logged |

A.) Traits I dislike in myself... I wish that I could be more pro active in my own life...like going back to school is something I've always wanted to do and I just can't find the gumph to do it. Other things too but that's a biggie. I see people here talk like I used to. My self esteem was really low a couple of years ago and looking back on my own posts I can see it, where I didn't see it before. I do see it in a couple of people on here but would rather not mention names.B.)There are a few members here whom I admire and would love to be just a lil like. GypseeWind I admire a great deal. She has a wonderful personality that you can sense in her posts. And she seems to know how to express herself very well. GeocosmicValentine well she has this confident air about her. When she posts, you want to read because she obviously knows what she's talking about...and she does so in a way that pulls you in. You just want to keep reading. She adds humor and intelligence as well. Others too but they are my top fav's. C.) LEXX!! She seems like she would be fascinating to talk to. As does others, but I feel a connection to her. --- A)what traits you dislike in yourself - what are they?, 1. I dislike my fear of disapproval - when it comes to work/school. I think I'm too obsessive about getting everything perfect and it has affected my health in the past.
2. I also dislike my critical streak.. I think this is too much sometimes. I can pick things/people/situations apart in my mind and criticize in great detail. I am too passionate in my criticism -- until the Pisces in me kicks in. --- B)a member here that posses traits you admire and wish to incorporate more of into yourself?
There are so many I wouldn't know where to start. I think basically every person on here has some positive traits I'd like to incorporate. Jane is very relaxed and carefree - She never gets involved in anything overly dramatic (I want to be just like her. I think I will be eventually.). LEXX is a strong person by any definition of the word - I truly admire her personality. PeaceAngel is just so much fun - she always seems happy and puts a smile on everyone's faces. Spanky is COOL with a capital C - She's an awesome person and I always marvel at her insight - It seems very real and down to earth and she always helps me. Belgz reminds me of one of my best friends in school - I can count on her being happy and fun at the end of the day, no matter what else happens. Peri - I'll always remember she is the first person who made a birthday thread for me - She is very thoughtful and I often love reading her take on different threads. I find her very genuine & trustworthy. Koiflower because she is a caring person and she is a beautiful person inside and out. I'd love to have her creative writing talent. Gypsee is a free spirit. She knows how to focus on the positives without getting lost in all of side-line the crap. Ami asks really good questions that are great conversation and thread starters - it makes LL more engaging and she also gives very good advice. PDF - I respect and admire his care for animals and the things he is doing to improve this situation - I really appreciate this. DD is such an awesome astrologer and she is so caring and helpful towards everyone here. AG is very consistent in behaviour & he has a very wise vibe, kind of like he would have the answer to any important life question - I really admire this. CPN cracks me up like no one else - I don't think she realizes this - but from my perspective she is literally the funniest person here. Lara is a determined person - She knows what she wants. She knows what she does not want and she can set boundaries (which I would love to be able to do) - and she is also a fun person. Mystic Melody is very understanding. It's interesting because, I think we have a few oppositions, but I often feel like we think alike. I always love reading her posts and her insight. Diana - I missed her and I am glad she is back. She is an extremely intuitive person and being a great astrologer is at least half *intuition*. And I like mucking around with her! Amowls, because she has very POSITIVE opinions & ideals which she defends and stands up for. At times my earthy streak says "That would be great in theory, but is it possible in practice?" - Even SO, she always gives me something to think about and I appreciate her views. IQ - I'm very happy you are here. You have devoted so much time and work to asteroids and I find your insights very helpful and very interesting. Glaucus you amaze me sometimes - I'd love to be as mentally strong as you are. As much as I can be argumentative, I am actually easily swayed and I change my mind often. I like your persistence and your passion and commitment to your ideals. Honestly there are so many people I would be here forever - This is just off the top of my head. --- And by choice to answer - is there a member you haven't interacted with on here that you would like to? perhaps more often or again? on or off these forums. if so, which member is it? or if you would like, would you explain why you would like to?
hmmmmm
I can't think of one right now. But there are many newer knowflakes I'd like to get to know. IP: Logged |

I have never been in a group that is so intelligent, self aware and with the best senses of humor I have ever encountered. I think that people who are interested in Astrology are just a certain breed of very special person. I am amazed at how many countries are represented and how people have command of the English language. I would LOVE to speak another language! Ami

A)The traits I dislike in myself nearly all stem from insecurity and fear/ paranoia. A couple of friends lately have been feeling similar...my interaction with them almost like messages from the universe shouting out "see, you are not alone, as much as you felt it at the time!".B)Everyone has something special about them I can admire and be inspired by. C)I would love to interact more with everyone because the diversity of our world and all our unique ways of looking at it/ experiences...is fascinating. But I'm enjoying being in a mutually obsessive relationship at the moment. IP: Logged |

"Glaucus you amaze me sometimes - I'd love to be as mentally strong as you are. As much as I can be argumentative, I am actually easily swayed and I change my mind often. I like your persistence and your passion and commitment to your ideals. "I appreciate your words but I never viewed you as being argumentative at all, well at least not with me. I just see that you disagree with me at times and have your own views, and I just see that as diversity and maybe a little debate. (Linda Goodman encouraged debate). Even when you disagreed with me, you showed tolerance for my views and didn't dismiss them as nonsense. You never told me that I was wrong nor anything like that. You never came across pushy nor aggressive to me. Therefore, I don't believe that you were ever argumentative with me.
If anything, I could have been as viewed as argumentative because of my passion,intensity,and my emotional way of communication and self expression that I do naturally,and that goes especially for when I try to make a point,make a rebuttal,or retort. ------------------ Raymond Andrews, President,Executive Director of Developmental Neurodiversity Association Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |

1. i'd say a trait i have that i dislike is that, since i have a gemini rising, my mind is constantly moving, i am constantly thinking BUT when it comes to expressing myself i say very little and cant think of other things to say. 2. i admire mostly the people who really know what they'r talking about, i wish i knew enough about astrology and interpreting natal charts so that i could really keep up with the convo. 3. i'd like to get to know everyone here since im new and all.IP: Logged |

** what traits you dislike in yourself - what are they? **can't think of any offhand .. ok maybe one or two .. but they aren't going to change .. so to make the best use of ... them ... be the answer ** a member here that posses traits you admire and wish to incorporate more of into yourself? **
none .. ** is there a member you haven't interacted with on here that you would like to? **
no .. at least .. not on line on a public forum D ) .. what would you like to say to some forum members you might despise
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jaron And The Long Road To Love - Pray For You ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I havent been to church since I don’t remember when Things were goin’ great ‘til they fell apart again So I listened to the preacher as he told me what to do He said you can’t go hatin’ others who have done wrong to you Sometimes we get angry, but we must not condemn Let the good Lord do His job and you just pray for them I pray your brakes go out runnin’ down a hill I pray a flowerpot falls from a window sill and knocks you in the head like I’d like to I pray your birthday comes and nobody calls I pray you’re flyin’ high when your engine stalls I pray all your dreams never come true Just know where ever you are honey, I pray for you I’m really glad I found my way to church ‘Cause I’m already feelin’ better and I thank God for the words Yeah I’m goin’to take the high road And do what the preacher told me to do You keep messin’ up and I’ll keep prayin’ for you I pray your tire blows out at 100 and 10 I pray you pass out drunk with your best friend and wake up with his and her tattoos I pray your brakes go out runnin’ down a hill I pray a flowerpot falls from a window sill and knocks you in the head like I’d like to I pray your birthday comes and nobody calls I pray you’re flyin’ high when your engine stalls I pray all your dreams never come true Just know wherever you are, near or far, in your house or in your car, wherever you are honey, I pray for you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ well .. it is no.1 in the usa CW chart .. must have something going for it .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ strange thread for sure .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PS .. don't take too much note of the above .. i'm doing some typing whilst popping into LL for a break .. typing can be tedious .. well .. it IS tedious .. but has to be done .. *** maybe never ***" The Mysterious Mr.Letram " good title for a book ?? story of a character who gets totaly splogged on martel .. and discovers he can solve major crimes whilst under the influence .. but .. only when partaking of his favourite tipple .. turns out that martel gives him a connection to alien beings via cold blooded reptillian telepathy .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ** only one do i need to answer, and im not so sure i will, i don't think anyone is interested. ** sounds like a hint of venus-saturn there .. post it anyway .. you never know .. could very well interest someone .. a new gal-of-your-dreams could pop in by chance and become 'interested' reading some info here entitled " too much saturn " .. and the advice given to those 'suffering' from said affliction .. is to "lighten up" and not to take life too seriously .. have a good laugh now and again .. ( you'll see .. as you get older that saturn-venus will have benefits ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ btw : i only posted that song for the sake of it .. it nearly ended up in the brit cooking thread .. as in .. what to say to the kitchen staff who gave you minor food poisoning :-) ( not uncommon around here .. ( i've quit .. curries .. fish n' chips .. and the local chinese take away for that very reason .. only heard that song the previous day on the weekly beeb CW show .. thought .. mmmm .. wonder what it sais from a collective psychology POV that it would reach number one in the chart .. maybe he had BP in mind ;-) couldn't figure out if it were tongue-in-cheek .. or not .. TIC being somewhat of a CW tradition .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i could have answered part one of this ** B)a member here that posses traits you admire and wish to incorporate more of into yourself? ** i.e. " a member here that posses traits you admire " yeah there are a few .. and one in particular .. but part 2 ** and wish to incorporate more of into yourself ** sort of messes it up .. 'cause a) the vast majority of forum members are female .. an b) .. i simply don't have the intellectual brain capacity to 'incorporate' that trait .. it would be akin to hitting myself on the head with a rubber hammer on a daily basis .. and i refuse to become a masochist :-)))) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ must get back to work 'n stop goofing off here ( post slightly ammended and re-submitted ) IP: Logged |
I've got that Venus-Saturn. 1. Callousness to a certain degree. 2. There are a lot of traits I admire here, but none that I'm dying to incorporate into myself. 3. If a person's worth knowing here, I'll cross their path at some point. IP: Logged |
