This is my question. Do you wish you were never born? I am not asking a question that would have an answer which includes things like if you were not born then you would not have your children etc. It is just a literal question--putting aside ALL outside things--if you can? If you could have chosen NOT to have ever come in to the world--would you ? Ami

There are times when I wish I'd never been born, but they haven't stuck. (At least, so far.) I'm not sure that I can put aside all outside things in order to answer the question. IP: Logged |

I prefer the "red pill" of physical reality..... so here I am again! I can always go commune with the incorporeal side whilst still living in the physical. Best of both worlds!IP: Logged |

Well I have been tempted at times when life seems so hard. I always tell myself that no matter how bad I think I have it, someone out there has it 10 times worse! And it's so true. For instance I work with someone who has a friend. This friend is going thru a divorce with a new born and a toddler. She also takes care of her retarded sister whom she also has to change diapers on, brush her teeth, feed her, etc. And the sister is in her mid 20's with very limited mental capacity. So my co-worker was talking about picking up milk and butter for her friend because she can't get out of the house to shop as she's constantly needed. Anyway, I too choose the red pill. Besides, if we weren't born into the person we are today, we would still be born IMO. I believe in reincarnation so if we don't learn the lessons before us today, we will be tested again and again until we get it right. So not being born in this lifetime wouldn't solve anything, it would just postpone whatever lessons we are here to learn. Like putting off a final exam because you don't feel like taking the test today... you'll have to take it eventually, right? IP: Logged |

The existence of infinity/eternity means that "Learning is forever" There will always be more to learn/experience. Omnipotency is a myth/illusion/delusion.------------------ Everyone is a teacher... Ami,It makes me sad that you would even ask this We all chose to be here.......we all chose the circumstances of our lives for learning........believe it or not, we chose it. P.S. and I know that life is so freaking hard, yes, but how else could we learn? IP: Logged |

Funny, I always read other replies after............... quote: So not being born in this lifetime wouldn't solve anything, it would just postpone whatever lessons we are here to learn. Totally agree with this

Well, I don't have an 8th house stellium, I only have an 8th house "TWOium."But, no, honestly, I don't ever wish that, as depressed as I've been in my life, as many times as I've been dumped off on various relatives, as many times as I've been referred to as an "accident," or a "problem." I guess this is Jupiters blessing. And I give thanks for it, believe me, ALL the time, I give thanks. I KNOW I'm here for a reason, and I'll still believe that if I live to be 80. It's just something that can't be killed inside me, like a spring sprout poking out through the caked up snow.. it lives, whether or not I want it to. It could be the Moon and Mars in my sixth, but sometime in my thirties I discovered that I'm not here for myself, I'm here for others... that took a load off. IP: Logged |
