Mine does, all of the time, unless I am in an environment where I KNOW I have to keep it under control.Example:
I have just been to the supermarket (not my usual one) and asked the assistant whether they had any yoghurt coated nuts. She said 'pardon?', so I re-phrased it to 'nuts coated in yoghurt'. She said 'does it have to be nuts'? My head was willing me to be patient and polite, but I know my face was betraying me. I think this is a safe topic for here. Have been racking my brains for one! Hi Hippi - crikey, if I had to look out for my energy as well as my face I would be for the high-jump (not sure where that phrase comes from, it doesn't make a right lot of sense).I think very few people pick up on energy? When I was comfortable with my Scorpio energy ,my face did not betray me.
Now it does

still and all....the vibe you put out, which is what i was trying to get across, is, in my experience, way, way more telling than a "face."and yes, people do pick up on vibes, energy, but most of the dont know it is the vibe they are picking up on... "there is just something funny about him..her.." etc. acomplished actors get the vibe to jive with the face... just a thought! IP: Logged |

But do you think other people pick up on 'energy'? It is sub-conscious for most people?Certainly within a work environment people look at me like I am nuts when I refer to 'feeling' or 'instinct'. It can be a bit of a problem. So I have learned to disguise it in normal corporate language. Most of the people I work with just don't pick up on odd energy. Just read your post about the energy around the places you work, and totally agree. I left work on yesterday and went straight down to the sea. I could almost feel the bad energy being drawn out of me by the waves crashing against the rocks. IP: Logged |

It depends on the situation.When it was important that I hid something, I pulled a pretty good poker face. But if it isn't significant to me, I don't really try to hide my 'energy'. In the example you gave with the shop assistant - I wouldn't have wanted to hide my annoyance.
I would've said "Yes - it has to be nuts. Thanks." - followed by a very serious intent stare LOL I kinda laugh about these things to myself ^

Oh GOD yes.. I do that all the time.
I would like to think that I can control my expressions, but I know they show on my face... and yes, energy too.I know that example you were talking about would be a hard one to try and hide. I have this expression that says "what? really?"
And it's something that's kinda automatic with me. I don't mean it, it just...happens lol. When I was in high school this friend of mine who was kinda ditzy was hanging around me and my bf. I was in a band and had a break. During my break I wanted to go get my Coke from the car, since we went to dinner before the concert. I told my bf I was going to the car to get my Coke... ditzy asked "what's a coke?"
We both couldn't contain ourselves lol. That was a private joke for years. Sorry, had to tell that one since your example reminded me of that

I think even the most unenlightened (ok, not to judge, who is to say who is enlightened or not, but for purposes of discussion, that's the way I'm phrasing it..) of people feel energy, ALL the time.Watch children play and you can see it.
Some lump up together and leave another out. Why? Because two 'feel' the same, but there is something about the other one that feels different. In my line of work I am dealing with people who are impaired by alcohol consumption, so I have to sense their shifts in energy to make up for their defecit in speech. lol. That sounds funny, but you know what I mean. To answer the original question. Sometimes. There have been a handful of people that I've come across in this world that I have instantly disliked, and it was nearly impossible for me to hide it. They knew it, I knew it, everybody knew it, and it was seriously awkward!! *I would of cracked up in the shop with the lady when she said "does it have to be nuts," because I'm so very juvenile that way. I think people in general are just not good LISTENERS. A better response would be,....."No, we don't have yoghurt covered nuts, but we do have yoghurt covered pretzels"........... Unfortunately I don't think my face betrays me, I think it is unfortunately a dead giveaway

Nephthys - it turns out that they didn't have anything else covered in yoghurt!Wink - I hope you are referring to a can of coca-cola?!! All - yeah, I can see that people do pick up on energy all of the time - cutting the atmosphere with a knife is a really good example. I guess I am referring to a corporate environment where most people seem to have their energy shields on. My new boss is the worst - maybe that's why it's in my head. IP: Logged |

eskimono ~ I think my example is one of those that everyone is so used to saying, that a lot of people don't extend the thought further to the fact that they just might pick up on other feelings, as well (intuition/anything remotely 'out there' being considered to be taboo). mine looks sad, often people have told me to cheer up or smile.if its not that, i guess i look serious or just a bit angry in an irritated looking way. sometimes i consciously make an effort to make the gentlest and subtlest little smile on my face. otherwise, its a shame, inside i feel fine *shrugs* IP: Logged |

Letram - that's a shame. I think I have the opposite problem. I smile a lot and look happy, even when I am not. Yet, when I am perfectly happy, but my brain is working hard, I don't smile and everyone tells me to 'cheer up' because I am usually smiling.All - you will be pleased to hear that today I found my yoghurt coated nuts - all is now well with the world IP: Logged |

me too eskimono. seriously, even the worst vacation i ever had, you can't tell by the pictures, they look like i had the time of my life.i scare people when i get mad though. i don't mean to. if i get real quiet, or one flash of my eyes.. the kids know it might be a good time to say bye mom, love ya, see ya later.
