It (religion) is!
Divine Diversities is the place for such!

Divine Diversities
While Linda grew up as a little girl searching the mysteries of the Uni-verse, she explored several different religions and belief systems; this Forum is dedicated to those diversities of belief that encompass what we call religion

Nuff said.

When a thread is closed, it'd be nice to know where it gets moved to rather than have to fish around for it. A nice practice, proposed by kat, which Abs followed beautifully.

Wasn't me.. I was in the middle of replying to it when it was closed.
It probably would have been a Divine Diversities subject, but I thought it was one of those where it could have gone either way, which is why I didn't close it....

I dunno...

It's funny because the whole idea of the article posted in the thread was that Santa had nothing to do with Christian traditions or religion.

It was a religion-oriented article in my opinion, so I moved it. You can see on the top left corner where a string is moved to. There's no need to post where it is moved to, although a Mod can do so if they wish.

It seemed to me more fitting to be at Divine Diversities because of its religious/belief/customs etc. related information.

So then why keep the old thread in the original forum if it isn't stated where it's moved to? This was my whole point in my "On the Subject of Moving Threads"........

.....it STILL looks like clutter to me JUST SAYIN

Good to know.

Now, if the thread is deleted from its original forum, then we'll have some major fishing problems, no?

BTW, Randall, and everyone I just posted some really neat stuff on Gaia's Garden.

Randall, you have mentioned the LLC is a good place to advertise topics... Is that still a consideration?

Since only the regular members seem to know how to check all active topics, maybe it's a good idea to post links to new topics on LLC.

I like how where a thread is moved is clearly displayed in the top left corner if closed in the original forum.

No, Yin, I was being sarcastic. I am leaving moved strings here as a courtesy, but once it gets out-of-hand, they will be moved and deleted. A bunch of ad strings is even worse clutter than closed ones.
