It's not just the ones who lost their lives, the survivers suffered a LOT afterwards, and most were not given any emotional, enough medical, or financial support afterwards. I have been given first hand account from people who lived there and said that they felt they were "cut off" from the rest of the world b/c no one could understand what they had been through.......no one could understand the emotional therapy that they needed. They have injuries and health issues that to this day have not been addressed......... IP: Logged |

Nine years already. One of the things that always stands out in my memory, is the people that I watched every night, looking for their loved ones, the walls of posters... IP: Logged |

as all those affected includes a large section of the world, let us remember that...not only those at the scene but certainly the whole of america and a great deal of the rest of the world (esp iraq and afghanistan)...to those left behind when their loved ones departed... to those who were left to suffer with the effects of silicone and worse in their bodies just because they happened to be at work that day... to the american economy which started tanking that day... to the muslims who find themselves stigmatized just because they share a religion with some very nasty characters... the list is too long to go on.... peace be with us all! Oh, katatonic reminded me of something that I only learned about yesterday: that some out there were/are planning to hold a Burn a Koran event on 9/11? Ugh. IP: Logged |

I came across this yesterday. Not sure how true the book is, but my heart responded. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1310994/The-9-11-victims-foresaw-deaths-New-book-claims-victims-premonitions-atrocity.html IP: Logged |
