My LL username is also my email address username.

I have discovered that by typing "kfn327" into Google, all my LL posts show as results.

This has become a concern for me since I use my email address for my job. I started a few topics several years ago that I would like erased. I have edited each post (erased my words and replaced them with a "-"), but it would be wonderful to have the threads completely removed, since some users quoted me when replying.

Is this possible?

Maybe you could point out which threads to the moderators of the respective forums.......if you have any in my forum (Heathcliffe's) I'll gladly do it.

It will still show up on search engines.

"Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's okay though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation...so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type...I'm like, 'hey girl, magenta!' and she's like, 'oh, you mean purple!' and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, 'no - I want magenta!'"

I know it'll still show up in search engines, but the link will be broken. I know this because I lost my wallet and someone posted an ad on craigslist (the name of the ad was my first and last name), and if you type my name into Google, the ad still comes up, even though if you click it, it's expired.

The posts I want deleted are all in the Astrology forum.

How long does something "expired" keep appearing in search engine results? Until the website itself shuts down? Where do websites that get shut down "go"? Does anything on the internet really disappear?

The link won't work, but the entire strings will still be in their cache (probably for months). We have had strings glitch before, and they were pulled up on Google in their entirety. I think LEXX actually accomplished it.
