http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVG2wrKQKtY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEpaBLhcchs I'm a straight ally coming out for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality because it's 2010 and you can still be fired from your job in 29 states for being lesbian, gay or bisexual and in 38 states for being transgender. It's 2010 and only five states plus DC recognize that love, not gender, is what matters in a marriage. It's 2010 and more than 14,000 service members have been discharged from the military under the failed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law. It's 2010 and the government's failure to recognize LGBT families for immigration purposes tears bi-national couples and families apart. It's 2010 and almost 90% of LGBT youth experience harassment in school, and too many lives have been lost. ------------------ We justify ourselves each time we take a breath... Me IP: Logged |

Wow I didn't realize that you could be fired for being gay!!! That's messed up.I met a friend of my mom's who is a great...umm.. guy. He's something like 6'5 tall and a big guy. My mom invited him to have lunch with us about a year ago. From looking at him you wouldn't have known he was a man. He was dressed in women's clothes, blonde wig, jewelry, cute sandals, make up, sun glasses with blingage.. And just a really fun person. He was all happy because his driver's license that he just got said female lol. I would so totally hang out with him and probably have a blast. Anyway, just my lil input. So much for land of the "free" that's rediculous!! IP: Logged |

yes its about time we stayed out of people's private business and practice equal rights across the board... abswinks...a huge percentage of trannies aren't even gay, enjoying long loyal marriages, parenthood and all the "normal" trappings of domestic life...they just happen to like cross-dressing...then there are the others who go all the way and make the change permanent...and everything in between.
