or just freak them out with it anyway! lol Do a lot of you find that people think an act of kindness comes with strings attached, or wonder what the catch is or whatever else? I notice this often in life. Any thoughts?

If I don't know a person well, and they're persistently going over the top with kindness, it is a bit unsettling. It seems as if they're trying to buy my acquaintance.

People give me stuff and do things for me all the time...some of them complete strangers. It doesn't bother me in the least.
