ok peeps, the meteor shower is supposed to start soon and when it does i'm gonna get some pictures!!!

ok, so i'm out there dressed in jeans and a black jacket walking back and fourth in my driveway to stay warm and stay awake so i'm sure i looked like a crazy person! LOL

once i saw something out by Orions belt but it turned out to just be my imagination, lol....thats what happens when your up so late, tired as i am

then i saw a glowing dot go by in the sky...it turned out to be a plane...guess someone else wanted to watch the shower around here...only from up high

every time i saw a star twinkle or shine i stopped moving completely and had to squint my eyes just to realize it was nothing but just the star that was there, LOL

the moon is almost full, whoohoo...and the little dipper seemed unusually bright tonight too

i was out there for about 45 minutes before i finally saw my first meteor...around 4:20 am to the north-northeastern part of the sky....unfortunately i only stayed out there long enough to see just 2 meteors since it was freezing outside and i had to come in and stand in front of the heater to get feeling in my toes again, LOL..soooo, tomorrow i'll have to find pics of it on the web (since my camera is too retarded to take pictures of stars at night) and post them on here (that is if i can find any decent ones)

a pretty little picture for you!!

the big moons make these showers harder to see...but they usually go for two or three nights and one night will be the peak show...this meteor shower marks my grandson's birthday! and sometimes they are spectacular but other times it's a night out for nowt!
