Requirements: Must love Linda Goodman and have a very thick skin.We get lots of Newflakes signing up, but most of them are gravitating to Astrology 2.0, so I am going to run some ads to get traffic to some of the less-frequented Forums, especially our earth/environmental Forum, numerology Forum, animal Forum, and the more Linda-centered Forums (Linda's Life and the Gooberz one). I just feel like those Forums deserve more traffic. If you want to be a Mod, e-mail me in private with a short essay on why in the world you want this crazy job. Nominations by Knowflakes can be made in this string. The Mod Squad pays well--just not in money. lol ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

Just curious, because I've never emailed you, except for myspace, but where is your email? I don't see it in your profile. IP: Logged |

Oh, I'm sorry. My bad. Just use the Contact Form. And no Mods are being fired, or anything. A few Mods don't come around as much, so I think we need to beef up our crew somewhat for the arrival of Newflakes in the slower Forums.------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." Firstly, I want to build up Gaia's Garden. I think this would have been one of Linda's favorite Forums, and I think it's a shame it gets so little traffic. ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

Also, I think Divine Diversities should get much more traffic. A lot of Spiritual people are here. And the political slant is probably predominantly towards the left here, so the environment should be more of a focus. But it's difficult to classify Knowflakes, since we are so far out-of-the-box. I prefer the term "eclectic." ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

I love Gaia's Garden. Randall, by the way, what would be the most appropriate website to post like beauty secrets and natural remedies and stuff? IP: Logged |

Beauty secrets would be a tough one. Natural remedies would go in Health And Healing. Beauty secrets would probably go there also, unless they were the "go green" type. ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

SilverStone and sesame aren't around a lot, and it's a fairly busy Forum, so I'm going to put you in Uni-versal Codes, Diablo. Is that cool? ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

Heathcliffe's should be doing a lot better also. I think Linda would have loved that one. Who here is a real animal lover?------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

NickiG and PS, your Forum is super slow. Maybe things will pick up once I figure out how to make it non-private. Would either of you like to add another Forum? ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children." IP: Logged |

Right now, I'm looking to beef up Heathcliffe's Corner, Personal Readings, and Gaia's Garden. Neither one has a Mod at all. I don't mind staying a sole Mod at Oranges And Hyacinths (my fave subject), Global Unity 2.0 (our most argumentative Forum), and The OOber Galaxy. ------------------ "The earth is not given to us by our mothers and our fathers, it is borrowed from our children."

I will take one. My preference is Heathcliffe or Personal Readings, since I've been begging folks to post at Heathcliffe more and I spend more time at those 2 than at the others you've mentioned.Whatever you think is best, and of course, if no one objects. You might get more interest if you post this on Astro2 also. IP: Logged |
