Many of us communicate here regularly but do not share our real names and addresses for safety reasons. This obviously makes it difficult for the holiday to exchange Christmas Cards.

The idea for the Christmas Card Drive was inspired by Lioness, and Randall has volunteered to make this possible.

Here’s how to participate:

1. Email Randall at webmaster@linda-goodman.com. Put in your email title: Lindaland Christmas Card Drive. Leave Randall your member’s name here at Lindaland, along with an address where you can receive mail.

2. Request that Randall sends you his address to where you can send your envelope.

ADDENDUM (THANKS TO VIRGO-ARIESARTIST)

To make things easier on Randall, just send one large envelope to Randall with all the appropriately post-marked cards inside, with Post-it notes on who to address them to.

You can weigh the larger envelope at the post office to make sure the whole batch doesn't get sent back...

This is a great way to reach out to someone else during the holidays!!!

Happy Holidays!

Just a small question, PlutoSquared...wouldn't it just be easier to send one large envelope to Randall with all the approrpriately post-marked cards inside, with Post-it notes on who to address them to?

I know I'm being all Virgo about it, it just seems the most efficient

Virgo-Aries,

THANK YOU. I love Virgos! Please feel free to add an addendum to the thread here for alternate, efficient ways to go about this!

I would appreciate that!

You are welcome, PlutoSquared! Glad to be of service

BTW, it might help if you edit your original instructions to include my addendum, just in case people don't read all the way through before replying and putting together their cards.

Thanks for this awesome idea too! In all my years at LindaLand, no one has ever thought of such a personal way to touch each others' lives.

MAKE SURE EVERYONE WHO IS PARTICIPATING EMAILS RANDALL! Otherwise, he won't have addresses and you won't have his, either!

i'm debating on whether i want to participate or not...i feel that if i participate expecting to get something but dont give something i'll be seen as selfish but on the other hand i want to participate but i may not be able to scrap the amount of money needed to send stuff to wherever

Question:

If you dont know where the person live's how do you know what the correct postage is?

If you mailing within the states, its one thing, but If your mailing outside the states the postage would be different amounts, depending on where the card is going to.

I've only received addresses for three people. Are we still doing this?
