The damage done to the car was $12,000 for a fix job and the car is not worth that much. When the car was bought $13,000 was spent and I will be getting 66% of that back. With the insurance monet coming to me, I have to go buy a preowned certified newer vehicle. The job I hate the most is going out to get a vehicle - I have asked my dad along with me so I don't get screwed out of my money.Today I viewed a 2003 Dodge Caravan at the dealership. I was quoted $8000 for it and online the price was $6995. Who is god's name would even buy a vehicle online without looking at it. The second vehicle I looked at was a 2005 Chev Uplander. The price was the same both at the dealership and online however, the guy told me and handed to me a wrap sheet on this Van. 84,000 KM for mileage on the sheet he gave me and when I looked online it said that the mileage was 98,000 KM. $10,000 for the van but Kelly Blue book price is $7500. I have a few more dealerships to look at and I'm gonna skip out of the used car lots. Dealership = BBB member and Used car lot = trouble. I hope this nightmare of car shopping ends soon and I pray that I get a good, reliable and safe vehicle. I miss my Pontiac G5 - I had it for 2 years and never did the car let me down. We traveled to many neat places and had some good times. RIP Blue G5 2007 - 2010. Cynn IP: Logged |

I am doing my research and learning the lingo of the car trade and I am not an easy sell. I have found a few sites that I can access via my cell phone when I go look for cars. I will have in the palm of my hand the actual canadian wholesale price of the vehicle and a list of option as well and then go from there. I pray that my angels on the other side will be helping me find a vehicle I need. Thank you for your kind words IP: Logged | |
