Ahhh... The weekend is here and Bear is not in the field (which means a nice weekend together). My classes are done, the shopping is done and the house is near spotless (I say near because with 3 cats and a labrador..good luck keeping anything spotless).

The candles are lit and later Bear and I will have a nice steak dinner (he's on the grill) and catch up on our shows (and other things). LOL...

Tomorrow we have a Battalion Christmas party and then Sunday we're just relaxing

Birthday party for one of the kiddo's friends, then a date with my new guy, and on Sunday doing a bit of Christmas shopping. It may snow a little so I'll curl up on the couch with some tea and a blanket and watch the lights sparkle on the Christmas tree.

Awesome weekend plans. I hope all goes well with the new guy and he treats you like the wonderful person that you are. I think the snow day plans sound... well... all warm and happy inside . I miss the snow but I'm not missing the amount of snow Grafenwoehr has been getting this year.

i have neither. mine working out of state, and i have literally half a room full of boxes on boxes of gifts to wrap, so i will be sipping cocoa, wrapping gifts and i hear i will be getting snowed in sunday. baby it's cold outside!

FC.. sorry your hubster isn't home. Sometimes, though, those are the most productive times LOL... Sipping cocoa sounds delicious. It's been a bit too warm here for that though (mid 70's during the day and around 45 during the night). As to the clean house, I've been a bit neglectful during the last two weeks of classes because of my papers. What compelled me to take on so much is beyond me (typical Sag).

Starting it out right with some Tri-Tip and eggs. Then, a Christmas haircut is in order.

Actually, it started right with sleeping in, a shower, a good facial clean up (hadn't shaved since last weekend), and a Starbucks vanilla iced coffee.

I think this will be the extent of my indulgence for the day. Can't spend too much on yourself at Christmas time. You can spend too much on your Elf, but not yourself.

I will be seeing some Gemini in The Tourist tonight.

I bought baby clothes for my grandson today and it was FUN!

My daughter wants to dress him in John Deere outfits and football kind of clothes, which I don't like. But, you know, it's her kid and all. HOWEVER, if I am buying him something, then I get to buy what I want.

So, I bought him black shirts with guitars and peace signs and skulls on them. hee hee. so cute!

One shirt says, "You can't get any groupies without any COOKIES".
