I also find that maryjane helps he become closer with my source. Can you elaborate a little more on your theory pertaining to this? I would appreciate it IP: Logged |

nickyG, you must be a stoner sure, well it's basically what i wrote in that other thread. i haven't smoked (except once recently, and accidentally, through the rads in my old apartment) in many years, but from what i recall it's just another (potent) way to connect to my inner essence/the source/goodness. and i either want to do art or clean when i'm high (must be my virgo NN/saturn conjunction!). how do you experience it? i guess that wasn't much of an elaboration! woah, yeah i can see how that would make a person seem a little stoneresque! (..i was just making a hilarious short term memory loss joke, though )your mind must jump around a lot, hey? i have mars conjunct mercury exact in aquarius and a fiesty who-knows-where-it's-taking-me-next sag rising and a moon/uranus opposition so my mind is reeeeeeeeeally active and unpredictable. i wouldn't have it any other way though. my mind is like an amusement park and i am NEVER bored! I guess I just wanted a dialogue with you and the other forum was closed. I feel like when I smoke, I feel ALIVE, like every cell in my body is vibrating and I also feel like I have direct communication with my higher self, but sometimes paranoia will throw me off and the communication gets very weak. I also read tarot when I smoke and have been told by many people that I am accurate. Not on myself though Through occasional (about 6-8 days a month) MJ usage I've resolved my depression and Bipolar II disorder and have had very effective sessions with my therapists and I feel it is all because of the strong connection to love and to God that I often feel due to MJ. In the pasts, I took psychotrophic (sp?) medicines that made me sleep all day long and never helped resolve my deepest issues. MJ has truly been a miracle drug.

Hahah, thanks. I don't smoke, but I have tried it before when I was 14.. or was it 15 lol? But I'm STRONGLY against drug use. I've seen it ruin too many lives. However... weed smokers don't bother me one bit. It's when they deviate into other substances that bothers me. I have a friend that smokes weed constantly since he was 13, most peaceful guy ever. For his birthday I made him a star filled bong LOL. He still has it in his living room. IP: Logged |

I was an extreme case of ADHD at a time when they were still calling it "hyperactivity" anyway I was put on meds at the age of 4 to deal with this issue but the meds depressed me and I cried all the time. My mother decided she would rather have an over-active child instead of a depressed child, so she just dealt with it.When I was 15 I was still struggling with the excess energy and I was "teaching" myself to "imitate" calmness (this was difficult because the excess energy came out with toe tapping, finger tapping, and the inability to sit still etc,) Then I discovered Pot and I found out if I took a couple of hits then I was the same as everyone else (no nervous energy) Talk about love at first sight. Later on when I was at the Dr's for my son who had ADHD just as bad as I did, I found out that it was common for people like myself to self medicate. I'm not saying it's right and I certainly don't encourage others to become stoners but it truly was a God-send for me. I hope they legalize it and I'm sure they will eventually. and for the record YES I have and have had a prescription for years. WhoaCakes, with your Mars conjunct Mercury, I would think that you were hyperactive as well. (I have Mars square Mercury) Out Sweethearts IP: Logged |

Thank You CoconutCancerMoon ADHD also makes you highly emotional, therefore your decisions are made "emotionally" instead of "logically", which is never a good thing but Pot will allow you to separate the emotional aspect of your decision making and allow you to look at your issues calmly and unbiased while retaining empathy. It eliminates manic behavior.

Can you elaborate this more, please? I'm diagonosed as Bipolar. I have nothing against the natural recreational way of pot. That sounds kinda wierd coming from someone who wants to be a Substance Abuse Social Worker. I have seen the positives of pot; the stress and pain reducer, the calmness, anxiety reliever and sometimes relieves depression in people, and the negatives of pot; shady dealers, lacing the pot, the tendency to escapism, if with prolong use it does effects the users R.E.M. part of sleep. thats exactly it...i'm thinking like 100 thoughts at once and constantly move on to another 100 thoughts that i forget so fast it takes a while to remember what i was thinking, lol....i literally have to stop and think really deeply and retrace my steps to remember what i was thinking...my mom has to tell me to do something like 10 times before i remember to do it...and half of the time i dont ever remember her telling me to do it, LOL ------------------ put your foot down once, not stomp it over and over IP: Logged |

Maka, With mild usage of marijuana I have no longer experienced mania or depression. Yes I have my blue moments, but not nearly as bad as a few years ago when I was on 4 different psychotrophic meds. It also helps me cope with stress, well, it pretty much alleviates my stress and puts me in a mind set where I can easily find the right solution some of my road blocks. I do quite a lot of writing when I smoke, I sort of feel like a channel when I do. The following morning, anything I read often sends chills down my spine! My supplier is a very kind and mild mannered man in his 50s. We have a mutual trust. IP: Logged |

I have a similar thread that I was thinking about today re separation/divorce...I will start it when I have more time.Similar to this thread is was around the theme of 'everyone being entitled to an opinion' versus 'try walking a mile in that persons shoes'. I don't think there is ever a place for definitive opinions on certain subjects. I think such an approach is ego driven.
