For those who say that the "other" is always responsible...simply not true.

You may love me, like me, hate me, despise me for this but it doesn't change the simple truth that there is no other, it is only you. And what good would come out of shaming a perpetrator, regardless of his/her crime?? NONE.

I don't see this as victim blaming but you don't forgive because you choose to take a moral high-ground or something. You forgive because you choose peace for your soul. Someone's anger attaches to you because you put up a wall of resistance for it to hook onto.

That is why, NOTHING CHANGES UNTIL YOU CHANGE

I disagree with that perspective. Most people learn good social lessons through shame.

You have a point on the multi racial couples.
That being said,EES is very special in her embracing of people,I think.
She has a sense that color does not matter which feels rare to me.
I helps me reach to a higher level within myself and inspires me
