Anyway. We seem to agree then.
I had no doubts it was a past life. Even though it's been so many yrs ago, I still remember this dream's highlights and its message. Since then I am especially intrigued by that era (French Renaissance) and have been craving the movies, books, history related to it.

When someone says they were IN a dream, I take it as they saw the character they identify with as if they were watching a movie, and were not being the person seeing outward.
To be past lives' recall, in my experience means you do NOT SEE yourself/your identity character.
You only see others, never you, unless in a reflective surface, mirror, water, whatever.

Well, Lex, to be IN the dream does not mean to SEE myself in the dream. If I was seeing myself in the dream, I would not feel like being IN it. One with it. In that case, I would have said that I was watching myself do such and such. Instead I said I was IN it. I was the protagonist. I wasn't watching A protagonist.
Hard to explain that differently. But that's what I have been saying all along. LOL
Anyway. Also I added that the attention to my clothes was due to the fire or somesuch we got through (me and the kids). I realized AFTER I woke up (as I was narrating the dream to my confused bf) what I was wearing in the dream. I did not see myself in any clothes while I was dreaming. Hope this makes sense.

I tried explaining that important distinction and why I wanted to know whether you were being or seeing the woman in your dream.
Big difference betwixt being and seeing.
Thank you for finally stating you COULD NOT SEE the woman.
THAT WAS ALL I WANTED TO KNOW.
I have done such research for decades and my terminology and yours for same thing clashed and confused.
I found your recall interesting btw.
You can if you wish to,
you can recall more of it.
Like each time I would meet in this lifetime,
a person who I knew in other lives,
more recall would be triggered.
Some recalls were some 40 years old before I met the others involved.
Then we all would discover shared dreams and visions and memories but from each of ourselves in those lives.

I opened a thread about some dreams I'm having since my childhood a month ago.

It's really annoying though because I still don't know whether I was a girl or a boy, I think it would explain a lot of who I was as a person.

I think it'd be nice to meet people from the past with whom I had shared a deep connection with. Either I haven't met any yet or I might not be perceptive enough to realize.

Raise your arms,
look at them.
Do you look male/female/young/old/poor/rich/well/sickly?

And yes,
these recalls/dreams etc. are common for me since at least 1 year old.
In fact first remembered one was when I was

So I have those recurring "dreams"
and have for over 56 years to date.
Also there have been 100s,
not just one or a few.
