$3.87 where i am
(u.s. dollar)
.
.
oh they're rising all right, it's called price gouging. they could implement other forms to power the cars they just don't want to. and i thought i was stubborn

when prices were breaking to the 3 dollar mark (from 2.70 avg. pushed to 3.20 or something), the price for a barrel of oil was pushing maybe 140 something, and that was about 2 yrs ago, not 20 lmao.

http://www.oil-price.net/

Right now crude oil is trading at 104 us dollars.
Talk to me now about how much they're raking in, the oil companies looove when crap happens in oil rich countries, omg, they get big smiles.

I guess this is a more reputable site, but it's listing the same price http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/

The economy is improving, so they feel like they can get away with increases.

Let the gouging begin! UGH. I hate it really.

It's going up in Canada too, eh.

I'm not sure what this would equate to in US prices but The highest gas here - Regular unleaded gas is $1.18/Litre and the lowest I have seen is $1.06/Liter. So a 12 cent range in that ball park.

Premium gas wise the lowest here is $1.13 and the highest here is $1.30/Litre.

These prices do affect our household as my boyfriend charts at least 90 KM's a day on his car going back and forth to work.

Is the website that I go to for price checks.

Our gas here is $1.23.9 a litre, which works out to over $6.00 a gallon.

It went down 1 cent and next day jumped 5 cents.

I read today it will carry on well into summer.

With it said the US only has a 2 month reserve, wouldn`t it be too soon to break it out now as some are considering to do so ?

Then what if a "real" emergency hit....

$3.50 off post (off the Fort / Military Installation)

$3.41 on post

It is cheaper in Tucson and Phoenix but since we are in the middle of nowhere, we pay more

So if a gallon was 4,54609 litre as I've found on wikipedia, then in France a gallon would cost 9,45 US $

here one litre is 1,5 Euro so a gallon would be 6,82 EUR

(1 USD = 0,723470 EUR)

for that price given here, the government taxes 61%, at least that is what they said yesterday on the news, when they explained it, but 9,45 minus 61% is still above the prices everyone gave here (it's 3,68 $ ), so I don't know.

Thanks, for sharing gives a range of the prices both in Canada and US.

The average is about $1.25 a Litre,
so that whould be $4.72 a gal.
(3.78 Liters = 1 gallon)

But, 32% of the price of gas is in taxes.

I know the gas in the US is also taxed, but i'm not so sure what the percentage is and its alot less.

Whats intresting is if you watch the business networks they'll always say its supply and demand.

Reality wise, its the speculators and day traders "manipulating" the price to move higher.
