In light of the meltdown of Fukushima: How to protect yourself and your thyroid against radiation: kelp, ginseng, ashwaganda (recently found to regrow nerves), chlorella, zeolites, fulvic acid, nascent iodine, reishi mushroom, sea salt (also salty miso), botanical (plant-derived) or lipo- vitamin C, magnesium (chlorophyll), selenium (brazil nuts*), coconut butter, Megahydrate, Crystal Energy. Spread the word. _David Wolfe The radiation will affect other populated areas in other countries.*See Randalls post below and mine
quote: It looks like two or three of the reactors at Fukushima are in the process of melting down. In case you haven’t heard, reactor 1 literally blew up. I flew within several hundred miles of Tokyo last nite when we left Seoul, South Korea. It was all over Seoul TV. American television is covering it up, but that won't last for long. It is bad. Probably the worst disaster in history. And the fallout is heading beyond the greater Tokyo region and being pulled into the jet stream heading to the West Coast of America and Canada with Oregon and Northern California likely to get the worst of it. I put this together (as a guide) for thebestdayever.com members and all my friends: "In light of the meltdown of Fukushima: How to protect yourself and your thyroid against radiation: kelp, ginseng, ashwaganda (recently found to regrow nerves), chlorella, zeolites, fulvic acid, nascent iodine, reishi mushroom, sea salt (also salty miso), botanical (plant-derived) or lipo- vitamin C, magnesium (chlorophyll), selenium (brazil nuts), coconut butter (coconut products), Megahydrate, Crystal Energy. Spread the word." Start small, but increase your dosages rapidly and dramatically if you live in Hawaii, Western Canada, and the Western USA. Start now. Fallout will descend upon North America sometime around March 22. If you live in Japan, start taking massive doses of these foods, superfoods, superherbs, and supplements immediately. These are all safe for children. Radioactive fallout lingers longest in medicinal mushrooms. If you live in North America, pick your mushrooms NOW. I wouldn’t recommend picking any medicinal mushrooms in the fallout zones (after the fallout begins) for several years, if not a decade depending on how bad the radiation is. If you live in North America, stock up on food NOW because fresh food may be contaminated for several months after the fallout comes down from the jet stream into the fallout zones. We all have to band together to stop nuclear power once and for all. All attention of all scientists should move to a total focus on free energy devices (solar, wind, implosion, etc.).

People need to keep in mind that potassium iodide will only protect against the absorption of radioactive iodine. Please consider these plants contain radioactive Cesium, Uranium, and Plutonium. IP: Logged |

America on radiation alert: Japan faces world's worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl as experts warn fallout may reach U.S.By David Derbyshire, Richard Shears and Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 10:20 AM on 15th March 2011 * Comments (0) * Add to My Stories *
California 'monitoring situation closely' amid dramatic escalation of disaster * Japan's nuclear crisis now appears worse than the Three Mile Island nuclear accident in 1979 - but not yet as bad as Chernobyl in 1986 * Japan PM tells people within 19 miles of plant to stay indoors as radiation reaches levels that could impact human heath * Radioactive wind could reach Tokyo within hours - and radiation levels are already rising in city * Nuclear Regulatory Commission admits it is 'quite possible' radiation could reach the U.S. * 'Worst-case scenario' could see 30,000ft winds sending nuclear cloud across Pacific - possibly hitting by Tuesday night Fears that America could be hit by the nuclear fallout from the Japan earthquake have dramatically increased as workers prepared to abandon a reactor crippled by the earthquake and tsunami last night in the face of what is set to become the world's second worst nuclear disaster - topped only by Chernobyl. Damage at the number two reactor at the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power complex is worse than thought, the Japanese government admitted tonight, sparking fears for human health both in Japan and the U.S. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has admitted it is 'quite possible' the fallout could reach America. Can you get Nascent Iodine? apparently that is better. Moonwitch this is a good as I can find http://store.naturalnews.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=100370 quote: We have sold out of our current stock of Nascent Iodine. We got a confirmation of a shipment of thousands of bottles sent from our supplier to us on Monday (3/21) and even more a week from Friday (3/25). Therefore, most of the orders already placed are guaranteed to ship out by the end of next week. We are waiting for another confirmation for even more bottles to ship to us at the end of next week, but we won't know for a couple of more days. Therefore, most likely we will be able to ship out any Nascent Iodine orders by the end of next week. We are not 100% sure on this, but we are confident that if you order now, that you will get your shipment within 10 days - 3 weeks. Please check back here every day or so to get the latest update. 03/15/11 10:00 Eastern Time. This is the best price that you will find on the web for this product and we are required to raise the price back up to $36 in 10 days. It may be worth the wait in ordering now for a delivery in 2 weeks or 3 weeks.
They had this stuff in stock way before what happened. And they never increased their price. Which is good. ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. I can't even believe it, I mean I saw the tsunami, the visuals of it, but until today it didn't register that so many people would be trapped under the mud, and now to clear the pathways to find them, possibly in the thousands, it's just unthinkable and the force of the water, something obviously I'm not used to seeing. Heartbreaking, I have a friend who's over there but since he has such a common first and last name, it's almost impossible to know what happened, Google's search didn't help that matter any. I can only hope that their govt has the people's best interests at heart and is telling them everything they need to know to keep them safe from any other disaster and to help them in providing shelter when they rebuild. I'm still following the story. Prayers indeed. IP: Logged |

Betadine topical antiseptic solution works if painted on the wrists and left to dry for the day. Iodine will be absorbed through the skin. If one is not able to acquire Iodine in another way, buy Betadine. IP: Logged |

In CA and am fine, the reports out there are saying that even if there is a huge explosion of that nuclear reactor site, that when traveled across the Pacific it would dissipate to a nominal level once it reaches the West of the u.s./alaska...I can't really believe that, I mean I don't even trust the CDC, but it's just watch and wait. But whatever happens with this the major concern should be with the Japanese and not the Americans. From what is being shown on the news through the devastation they are trying to make do and pulling through, in the wake of a disaster that is the best one can hope for that the human spirit and will to live survives. I agree, it could be that they don't know themselves. From what I'm seeing nuclear physicists don't want to speculate..I'm not sure why, since people need to know the possibilities, if only to prepare for the worst. IP: Logged |

so, were the earthquakes that caused the tsunami's done by dipspits who think they own this planet or was it a natural reaction by Mother? Oh and you would think these idiots would shut down the nuclear programs after this. What is the point of having nuclear energy anymore!? SHUT IT DOWN RETARDS!but ohhhh nooo me want to show my muscles. i am so strong. u like? yes? look at meee, im sowe powaful. HA! State: Radiation Levels In AK Elevated But Not Harmful http://www.ktva.com/home/top-stories/State-Radiation-Levels-In-AK-Elevated-But-Not-Harmful-118057629.html State: Radiation Levels In AK Elevated But Not Harmful State health officials say no need for concern of radiation exposure in AK By Grace Jang Bio | Email | Follow: @GraceJangKTVA Story Created: Mar 15, 2011 at 7:16 PM AKDT Story Updated: Mar 15, 2011 at 7:49 PM AKDT The explosions at the Fukishima Daiichi nuclear power plant have triggered fears across the globe, including Alaska, of radiation exposure. The state commissioner of health and social services says Alaska could see a “very small increase in radiation levels—well below levels that would be a health concern.” State officials say there are monitoring radiation levels at stations throughout the state—in Juneau, Anchorage and Fairbanks—through black boxes, which send that information back to state and federal computers. But state health officials say, the chances of radiation reaching Alaska from Japan are very slim. “The immediate effects occur within minutes and they typically are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, general malaise,” said Joe McLaughlin, state epidemiologist for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. Weeks to months later, those symptoms get worse. “They can also develop skin damage, hair loss, problems with the bone marrow and that can result in infection and ultimately can cause death,” McLaughlin said. “If you're going to die from radiation exposure, that usually occurs within months.” But the chances of the problem affecting Alaskans are slim, officials said. “Right now, we don't expect any radiation to affect Alaska,” said Chris Laborde, the state’s emergency program manager. Scientists with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission say weather is keeping the radiation at bay: rain and snow are clearing the atmosphere and wind is carrying the rest of the radiation out to sea. Still, some are worried. “Some Alaskans have been calling in, asking whether or not it is appropriate for them to be taking potassium iodide and the simple answer to this at this point is, no,” McLaughlin said. The pills protect the thyroid against radiation, but they can be harmful. “It also can cause adverse side effects and therefore should only be taken if exposure to considerable doses of radiation is expected to occur,” McLaughlin said. “At this point there's no immediate or anticipated indication that this will occur in Alaska.” Radiation may not be a concern, health officials say, but they're urging Alaskans to be prepared should an earthquake or tsunami strike. * Previous article Sullivan’s Energy Task Force Looks at Cook Inlet's Natural Gas Situation * Next article Radiation Levels Fall, But Nuke Crisis Persists IP: Logged |
