We have to do a mixed cd of 5 songs specific to a particular time, characteristic or relationship, then we have to decribe ho each song pertains to the topic and the songs must all fit together.I have no idea what to write about! Stuck  IP: Logged |

I'm just confused about...all the songs must fit together. How? Like genre? Or like be flowing well together? I don't understand that part.

LoL I wanna copy and paste but I'm not sure if we can. No it can be any different genre of music, but the songs must tie together and be relevant to you situation, if that makes any sense. So since most songs are love songs (lame excuse lol) I wanted to do it about my relationship with my guy, so I started then erased, it was too confusing plus I used a Smashing Pumpkins song in which Billy implied suicide so I though eeehh, maybe not, don't wanna give wrong idea :-/Anyway, the idea I have now is "How I fell for two people or How I fell in love with two people" The two people will be me and my boyfriend, I am going to talk about the journey of me falling in love with me while I fell for my guy. When me and my guy began dating, I was kind of forced to begin focusing on me. He wouldn't adjust to my clingy ways So I had to find ways to become too busy to miss him 
Anyway, he always says the right things to me, words I needed to hear my whole life, from loved ones, not lovers. We value each other as friends above anything else. So anyway, sorry for book. Does this sound like a nice idea? IP: Logged |

I think that list of songs I had given you before might be relevant, they sort of...flow tune-wise. A few of them will go with your theme, I know you can definitely use several to describe the learning process in becoming un-clingy. IP: Logged |

i think it would be best if you do love songs about the hard times between you and him....like any fights you have or possible break up...or like progression of the relationship, like first it was great, then you fought then it became great again....one song that came to mind was nelly's over and over again featuring tim mcgraw------------------

Yes, I did the beginning as Building a Mystery by Sarah Mclachlan, then the sex  Feelin Love by Paula Cole, the clinginess In The Arms of Sleep - Smashing Pumpkins, now the nest song I have to put is one where I began to rebel from the cliginess and just started acting straight crazy lol I was going to choose Nicki Minaj Right through Me. LoL AC, I don't think she'd accept that, the "joy of life" is a bit too broad a subject to do your mixed cd You'd also have to do a 1-2 sentence intro before each post about each song and explain how the songs tie into your specific situation quoting some lyrics. The songs then must tie together.I finished it, but I dunno, it was all so difficult to me for some reason, I'm aiming for a passing grade. I can afford to get a 70 or so since my average is already pretty decent. Hopefully I will get higher than that I'm tired, not even sure if I sound coherent right now Need nap. IP: Logged |

I was just doing it for fun, like the old days of LLC2. I took the instructions saying "or" to mean it didn't have to relate to a particular time or relationship. I went for the characteristic option of the three. Your teacher's instructions were probably more specific.IP: Logged |
