I was stopped at a traffic light... when what did I SEE... a brand new sign... so shinny and clean... top part of sign was an artfully draw picture of a wave... above the wave was the word Tsunami... below the wave was all dark blue... with the words... ESCAPE ROUTE... with an arrow under neath that... pointing to go more IN LAND>>> it isn't one week since the Tsunami in Japan... and brand new signs have been designed... posted up on shiny new metal poles... and put on the main arteries of traffic... amazing..... I live around the coast line.... Some say the full moon ... which is today... brings about more of an opportunity for things to intensify... be an interesting weekend... IP: Logged

I'm glad they put up signs. We live half a block from the beach still but Manhattan Beach isn't as low. It's a steep hill up from the water line. Our sailboat is in Marina Del Rey, btw . I just love MDR. The dead fish in the Redondo marina died because millions of them swam in there and used up all the oxygen. Poor guys. At least they will be used for fertilizer. I felt bad for the people that live on their boats there. It must have been surreal. IP: Logged

I imagine their little fish brains aren't advanced enough to understand that all of them converging there would use up all the oxygen. IP: Logged

I asked the LOCAL's when we visited... ever see anything like this before... none of them said they had... interestingly enough...
