Hi, I am at the tail end of my chemo. That is great, but I am ultra stressed about finding work post-chemo. I am very much interested in working for a Non profit organization. Perhaps one that is specialized in dealing with cancer related issues but I do not want to narrow anything down yet. I have a BA, 26 years old with decent overall work exp.
Questions:
Do you work for a NPO? Which one?
How did you get the job? (and if you do not mind, with what credentials)?
Do you have any advice in regards to finding work with a non profit (cancer) org in the DC (Maryland) area? How to network?
Thanks to anyone who can offer advice, or even potential networking opportunities. I would greatly appreciate it. Been trying very hard to call many different places, but keep finding dead ends. I guess just looking for advice in regards to how to better direct my energy in an efficient way. Instead of just kind of aimlessly directing it. A guiding hand so to speak.
