I am holding my head in shame... My son normally goes to his after-school club on wednesdays. He did tell us yesterday that it wouldn't be on today, but we...erm, forgot... so can you imagine how shocked I was 5 minutes ago when he rang the doorbell? He walked all the way (which is quite a distance for him, tbh) and I am so thankful he's in one piece, as his road sense is non-existant as he is always on another planet lol. The worst thing is that I was on here browsing todays topics... *dies a little inside* IP: Logged |

------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |

A bad mother wouldn't have given it a second thought...so a bad mother you are not.------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. I don't know how old he is, but I'm still contemplating when I'll be comfortable with my daughter walking outside unsupervised, maybe when she's 20! I would have been scared, like you prob were when you saw him, and ecstatic at the same time that he was OK. You're fine.IP: Logged |
