It doesn't seem appropriate to place this in one of the Astro Forums, since it's not a serious topic. But anyway, let's give the Sun Signs new representations. For example, I would make Scorpio the Phoenix. Or maybe the snake (they can be plotting/cunning). Or maybe the Hydra (you cut off one snake head, and it regrows, symbolizing the regenerative capabilities of Pluto).

Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman

i actually give scorpio 4 totem animals, not 3 as Linda gives it...the phoenix shows its regenerative and transformative ability while the gray lizard, the scorpion, and the eagle show what level of scorpio the person whos sun is in this sign is

hydra

Hydra...you mean Medusa, greatest of the Gorgons

------------------
Ask Me anything. Anything. I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout. This book is far from My only tool. You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch. Listen. The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear—all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. I will come to you if you will invite Me. I will show you then that I have always been there. All ways.

Aquarius (me anyhow) : alligator and hummingbird.

has a tendancy to let their alligator mouth over ride their humming bird butt. Or as my Dad said ( and he was one)

defined as idealism over doing.

Yes, Medusa. What is a hydra? Why mothball? I tend to think of Sag as the one who talks too much sometimes without thinking. I think the Aries one is fitting. What about the rhino for Taurus?

It just a funny joke. It's something Linda Goodman said in her book relationships. I think it was in the chapter cap-aqua.
It's not my idea.

A rhino is immoveable, too. Aries could be a hippo...because they can bite your head off in one snap. Virgo could be the honeybee, because they are so organized. Cappy could be the ant--the tireless worker.

In Chinese astrology, the snake is one of the most revered of all the signs...very wise, very dignified, and very beautiful. There's good and bad in all signs.

I also thought about ant for Capricorn, so I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. So serious and diligent. Perfect.

Congrats, Scorp! I love Scorpios. No offense intended.

Thanks, AG. But us ants need to find time to relax and have fun, too.

Sag has got to be the horse. It reminds me of a line in an Elton John song, The One: "Like freedom feels where wild horses run." To snag a sag (it rhymes, so it must be true), one has to let them run away.

A Standard Poodle may be a Libra. My black Standard Poodle was the epitome of beauty .She was a gorgeous creature like a work of art.
She used to lie on the Oriental rug.
It was a vision of lovliness
