Sure thing. The best okra in the universe, with home-made mashed potatoes, home-made cornbread from scratch cooked in the oven in an iron skillet, and meatloaf that will make any vegan give in. I'm serious...my meatloaf is a three-generation family secret, and it is more addictive than heroine. It is beyond comprehension. No, I can't give that recipe out. It is closely guarded. mmmm! Randall you should open a restaurant and make it the hangout for the Lindaland people.i LOVE okra. it's really one of my favourite vegetables. but i never see it where i am...  i like it even raw, just sliced and salted.  slimy heaven! IP: Logged |

I love Okra.It's so cool with it's various properties lol
Don't use it in vegetable juice though Once I was making juice in a Champion juicer. I put in a half pound of raw okra .It became like literal jelly and was so gross,I had to throw it away  ------------------

Sheep BALLS
Cow tongues
stuffed small intestines (im not sure if it's cows or sheep’s or both!)i refuse to eat any of these, except for the tongues, they're ok

It's not particularly strange, but we're having lamb stew tonight - diced lamb, carrots, potatoes and swede all chucked into a pot and cooked for 4 hours...nom nom nom! It's apparently a welsh recipe, but I think it originally comes from Ireland via Liverpool. I don't really think we have any weird food habits...IP: Logged |

Northern Ohio is not known for any specific strange foods.....it has so many ethnic groups though, that you can ge just about any type of cuisine here.
However;
Mulberry pie and Mulberry wine are homemade goodies. I don't know any place that sells the wild black and white Mulberries.
We also have an Amish Cheese place and Many wineries/vineyards here and some of the local vintage is actually quite good!

I have two huge mullberry trees and I make wine and freezer jam out of them..
They taste yummy fresh on cereal and in pancakes! The racoons eat them and leave purple poop every where which my dogs think is the best way to serve them up ------------------

Same here lol! Four Mulberry trees and I use the Mulberries the same.

The birds also leave purple poop paint on everything. Ewwwww!

oh here, i remember. i grew up half in Japan. and my grandparents are from where the weird people come from. they eat raw horse meat. and bee larvae. EWWWWWWW!!! oh and candied crickets! ewwww! seemingly, according to my grandma, when i was an innocent unsuspecting child i tried them. i'd NEVER now, but i do recall eating the raw horse meat and it was unforgettably delicious. i wouldn't eat that now though. cow tongues are eaten in Korean BBQ. it's tasty. if i recall correctly, i think there's raw beef too? it's a long time ago... but again, i wouldn't eat it now that i'm a vegetarian. omg, i love grits, they'r the best with cheese all over them....isnt it like a grain, randall? my mom said its cornand its more of a southern food, bunnies, my boyfriends family never ate grits before, and they'r from NY ------------------

I eat grits for brekkie every day.
I use the instant kind in a packet, you just add boiled water. And I add a pat of butter and some syrup.
They kind of have the constancy of cornmeal before you add the water, then after it plumps up. Not as much as oatmeal though.Grape jelly refers to fact that it is made from grapes instead of strawberries, or raspberries. It's just a term for purple jelly (as opposed to jam- jelly has no seeds in it). Meat loaf is a blob of ground beef that you add stuff to and then bake. Recipes vary from place to place, but most include some sort of fluffer (bread crumbs, or sometimes even cereal) and a binder (eggs, egg whites, whatever) and then an assortment of spices and or onions, peppers, etc.
You can top that with some tomato sauce after you've stuck your hands in the goo and mushed it into the shape of a loaf and then baked it in the over for an hour or so. A hershey bar is simply a bar of chocolate. It is called Hershey because it was originally made in Hershey Pennsylvania. Nothing really special about it, just your average grocery store chocolate bar. Eggs over easy are when you fry an egg, then you flip it to the opposite side, but only for a minute so that you don't solidify the yolk, and it is still dippable with your toast.
