Not gonna hide it anymore, not gonna lie! They are so fun! Rpgs that is, old school (snes/ps1) rpgs are even better. I scour the internet for rare obscure Jap ones too. There have been some good translations. So Magical Land of Wozz or Lennus 2 (sequel to Paladins quest, never came to states) are really fun and I enjoyed them a lot! I also played Raidant Historia recently, a new game but with an old school feel. Anyone else play these (admittedly dorky) games? Wanna discuss? IP: Logged |

Legends of Mana, Zelda Series, Final Fantasy and many more.I like the Zenonia series on the phone lol, I get into more trouble for playing that game than texting on my phone. I'm currently, well was playing a new RPG; Eternal Sonata, but my bf always packs the PS3 with him on his trip to see his folks. I love RPGS and Survival Games. I want to replay the Fatal Frame Series this summer. IP: Logged |

Legend of Mana was loads of fun, but Secret of Mana will always be my all time fave. In fact, I have been thinking of firing up Seiken Denestu 3 (sequel to Secret of Mana, agan never made it state side) soon! It is almost as good as SoM!Final Fantasy is fun. I just played and beat 5 and 6 this winter, second time playing and beating both. I think those games, along with 4, 7 and 9, are the best ones in the series. Zelda for snes from 1991 and the first N64 one are masterpieces as well, but have had no interest in any of the other ones. IP: Logged |

Hahah me too, all the good old school Mario/Zelda games. I've played like one Final Fantasy series, though it's been awhile and I don't remember which lol. You guys ever tried the Golden Sun series? That's a good one... and a newer game, Resident Evil 4 one of my faves. I miss 'em! Nowadays I only play Call of Duty for PS3 (mainly Nazi Zombies). ------------------ "Lock up your libraries if you like, but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind." — Virginia Woolf IP: Logged |

Eternal Sonata sounds like a funeral march rather than a game Sorry, it took me a while to figure out the lingo in this thread ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson IP: Logged |

I used to LOVE old rpg's. I'd probably love new ones but I don't buy them because I'll get sucked in and I refuse to get sucked in anymore.
