Okay, so I put up an Asteroid Group on FB, and it is massively successful in only half a day. I totally did not expect that. But that got me to thinking...if I open up an Asteroid Forum here, it would attract some people from search engine traffic who normally wouldn't visit Lindaland, and that would allow us to introduce them to Linda Goodman--not to mention attracting some major Astrology talent here and making us a serious Astrology contender on the net. Just having the Forum would be like flying a flag and shining a spotlight to get the attention of more people who would have the opportunity to learn of Linda. The problem is that would take us to 28 Forums (a really bad numerical vibration). I don't want to close any...not even the private one; yes, it's slow, but the private area does make Newflakes feel special and safe. So, I need four additional Forum ideas. I want a 32 vibration. I feel like Lindaland wants to grow, but I will always keep the Linda in Lindaland.

Thanks! We are a very popular site in India, but we don't get very many Vedic topics. At one time, I considered that.

Here is my food for thought.
Well,Thats a good idea..i thought of that too..May be if you can divide astrology into into forensic, sidereal and tropical...that would work better.
Then As for other forms I Do think people miss Chat here.
Then Architecture and Travel is one,
Puzzles and games for kids(for kids and adults)
Food and cuisines will be another one.
Prisons Culture-all about abduction,Kidnap, missing, rape and other gory stuff.(truth or fiction)
Looking forward for others take on it too.

How about one for feng shui / vastu related topics? This would address how to rearrange one's physical environment for greatest harmony. Location-astrology could live here.

How about an AstroScience forum where people could tie astrology / planetary effects in to science? Quantum physics would be a big one here. Astronomy topics could be discussed too.

Hello, rajji! Your travel idea got me thinking..

We could have a forum just for 'Eastern' Astrology - this would cover Vedic, Chinese, Egyptian, and any other systems from the East that people might want to discuss.

I'm up way too late, but have one more to add: Astrology of Timing/Electional Astrology - this would cover Horary too, about which there seem to be many, many misconceptions floating around. I've seen many requests for Horary help too.. This forum would also hold threads related to planning events, perhaps first meeting charts and the like.

All great ideas. But I don't want to add any more Astrology Forums besides Asteroids. Astrology 2.0 is really booming, so I don't want to tamper with the dynamic there. I like having one big Astrology Forum as opposed to several small sub categories. But the ideas themselves are good ones if I went in that direction.

That gives us lots of ideas to kick around lol

You know
I have wanted to have book discussions. My Aunt told me about her book club. This got me thinking about this.
I started reading after not reading for many years.
It is like a whole new world opened up to me,again.
In times past,I escaped in to books.I forgot HOW much books become your intimate friend lol
I have been reading Amy Tan who is like a magical wonderland.
I have been wishing I had someone to talk to about her books.

This is just a throw out thought.
What about an annymous Dear Abby forum?
No one can see WHO we are.
Somehow our names can't be seen but we can ask any kind of question we want as Person A or Person B?
Who would be Dear Abby? I guess other people would just answer.

This would be LIKE Sweet Peas but no identities would be seen?

Just copying what I posted on fb:

I still want a conspiracy forum, wasn't Linda involved in conspiracy, ie. Her daughter? And was going to write a book? We could discuss the mk hollywood culture, illuminati, occult symbols, secret societies, government cover ups, mind control, false flags, bloodlines, ect. The list goes on and on. IQ would be a hero in a forum like that. Any way, one can dream, haha!

*Conspiracy

*Astro Dating-NOTHING would bring in more people than that. Everyone's already looking for it and you'd corner the market.

'Adult' astro-I know you wont' go for that and you'd get too many complaints. LOL.

I think Astro Dating may be too unwieldy as a dating "service" but perhaps in another related form.

I really like the ideas for asteriods, eastern astrology, and feng shui.
I like the other ideas too, but I like those 3 ideas the most.

I think a forum for asteroids would be great as it 'might' keep those crazy people away from the real astrology bit. I'm not sorry if that offends anyone

I would vote for a forum where called astro compatibility as a LOT of the questions on astro2 are about people who have a new love interest, and want to know more about synastry/composite. I think horary is a weaker subject on here, so no need for another forum.
