The server transfer was completed last night as I snoozed. Without our domain transferred, I used their proxy program to test links and such, but I can't do a full test as in posting stuff. I found three bad problems. Here I turned off the Banners, but there there is no program at all. Granted, they could just redownload that file from here.The link for active topics doesn't show them (it should since they grabbed some from after midnight last night). Granted, I am examining a cached copy of the site, so it probably pulls from real time. The third problem is when you click on the main page where it says Enter Here, it takes you to a sign-uo page. It should take you to the board instead. The techs who did the transfer are the best in the world. An error like this one has been fearful of what other errors are there. What if we try to post and can't? Needless to say, I can't takethat chance. So, after a waste of three days, we are only left with two workable solutions: Stay here with no Banners or transfer with the current host to a server of our own. Presumably they won't make any errors during transfer. i guess we can be thankful that the transfer didn't mess up the files on this site!IP: Logged |

Well,my understanding is if/when we get the dedicated server that can accomodate all sorts of things like banners and huge traffic?
The dedicated server is quite expensive,though.
