My 12+year old dino-computer is dying.
I may not be on much until
I get things transferred.
I'd plug in another but get this....
fraking chipmunks got in my walls and ate through wiring.
So as is am living off extension cords off 3 outlets so don't want to plug in any other computers till I scavenge and save what I can off the crap one.
Like I don't have enough troubles!
Had to work on plumbing last night for hours.
And today feel like shite.
OK..
posting now before it bombs for the 30th. time or more today.
Arrrggghhhh!

Yikes lexx. Rather sounds like my crapatron and my dying hard drive. I ordered a new drive, windows 7 and an external DVD player to download it with. That was over a week ago & on pins & needles if this one will hold out

Posting in betwixt storms and old comp crashes.
Hopefully will get some back ups tomorrow and move to an old lap top. but beats this old desktop.

mine too. this is the second one i've been through in like 4 years. i hate laptops! need 2 get a pc or mac mini type of thing so it stays put and i don't break it. i hate tech in general they're so expensive and crappy and become obsolete easily!
