I mean fun besides just taking in amazing beaches. I'm excited about that even though I'm whiter than paper. We're heading to Maui in August and we have a couple things lined up but if anyone's been there maybe you can suggest some of your favorites? ------------------ I'm a cosmopolitician ~ Closer than your next of kin ~ Angel, devil of the night ~ And the seed of everything IP: Logged |

We do plan on going snorkeling here: quote: Geologically, Molokini Crater is a volcanic cinder cone that has eroded over the ages into the moon-shaped island seen above. Now the Molokini is a Marine Life Conservation District Seabird Sanctuary, and a world-class dive location. Located 3 miles off the shores of Maui, it is famous for having incredibly clear water with visibility exceeding 100 feet almost every day and often 200 feet! You will enjoy thousands of brightly colored tropical fish and it is possible to see monk seals, whale sharks, manta rays, spotted eagle rays and harmless white tip reef sharks. Molokini crater is one of the most popular and exotic snorkel and scuba diving sites in the entire world. It is a must see destination for any visitor interested in Maui's underwater world.
SWEET!!! So excited

We snorkeled at Molokini which was nice but it was rough out. It was actually nicer right off Maui.We swam with two giant sea turtles. We went zip-lining over canyons and through trees which was a blast! I had a spa day. Today we are going on a train ride through a pineapple farm. IP: Logged |
